Lovely peaceful scenes, Juanita.  Is that railroad track still in use?

I think I like the first one best.  That stream is just wonderful!  I could sit or stand looking at that scene for quite a bit of time.  You caught it so beautifully!

First picture, well not quite that time of year again, its nice with those highlights in the water, that really makes this transitional shot. The other picture, here the turning of the season is much more pronounced, again the heavy weight of the rails give weight and solidity to the scene and a good strong focal point, just makes you want to follow the railroad on an on, exquisite colours, I don't think I'd like to run a train over those tracks.

How I missed the comments on these, I just plain overlooked-sorry friends...But thanks for taking the time look and leave your comments....

The 1st pic is situated in a lower lying part of the valley where it seemed quite lush yet...While the 2nd is at a higher elevation situated in mid valley between two hills, yet a little more open having a drier atmosphere...5-6 miles away from each other...When we moved here 15/16 yrs ago to PA/OH They had a a historical loco that would run those tracks from Negley to Rogers OH for paying customers...They have since shut that down. A Company bought it to bring jobs back in for clean dump from Pa to Youngstown OH...They built a clean dump here in Negley to be the main stop...We sure all didn't want it and as if it actually created anything, I'm not sure...They have replaced or fixed in places as needed.... and also those same tracks run and lay right beside that 1st one.... Thanks for listening to my long winded-plain ole talking...and I will look for pics of them this year...Not even sure if I got around to those track ones, though...
