Being a student of Macromedia's Dreamweaver, I have been having a bit of trouble with code, but I think I have it figured out....I hope!
Hope you all like this. It was one of my first attempts with digital B&W photography. I have only been using digital a short while, so this is all new to me.
Thanks,
Monty

Well, Monty, you've done it! You've posted your first photo and you did very well.
Thanks for persevering.
Nice hay bales.
(I've re-sized it as it was a bit large--123K and it still looks just fine)
Great photography AND you captured what IS Indiana!!!
Good job, Monty - both the photograph and the posting. Hope we'll be seeing lots more. :o
Wooohooo...you did it!
Great shot! I love the tones!
Right on Monty, Great to see you did your own post. Loverly photo.
Mispelling on purpose.
Awww, Thanks guys!
I was beginning to think I would never figure this thing out!
Thanks for being patient with me. Now I need to work on getting the right size photo.
Monty
You'll achieve it, Monty. You really will.
You ask Janet how it was for her and now she's posting underwater photos from her diving expeditions and so many of her lovely grandchildren and she uploads them all to her own webpage and all.
She's a wonder!
And you will be the same.
Here's a B&W image that I took a few years ago on 4X5. I love to play with light, and I think that will become evident as I post more. I didn't really set out to use light to show and hide things, it just sort of became the way I see images. All part of the growth as a photographer I guess.

Enjoy!
Well that dreaded red x again! I'll keep trying.
You only posted part of the url, monty. sometimes the url address is very long so you will have to start at the top where it shows http:// to the end .jpg
Thanks Soni I went back and found it hiding there!
Once again!

Now that is beautiful!!!
Ohhhh, Monty, that's a lovely photo. Did you play the violin by any chance?
Regular Guy, but beyond regular photos!
Thank you folks, I am so glad you enjoy them.
Pat - I wish I could play the violin.
I got my hand hurt in a machine at work once, and as I was laying there on the operating table, I asked the Dr. "Will I ever be able to play the guitar again?" He said that I may in a few years after I heal. Then I asked him, "Will I ever be able to play the violin?" he said he didn't see why not. I said "Wow doc, you are a miracle worker! I never could play violin before!"
Monty
LOL..you are funny!!!
Nice shots, and congrats on getting them posted.
<karmat chuckles at the violin joke>
Karmat,
this is from another topic but the Hinsons were one of my favorite groups of all time! I loved them all, and I will hear Kenny sing again some day!
Bless you.

I missed the violin photo. I went back to view it and I sure am glad I did. FANTASTIC!!!!
Now, where's that violin shot, Monty?
