Title: Sunset on St Paul's Bay
Post by: Summicron on May 09, 2008, 05:41:59 PM
St Paul's bay on Malta, traditional site of the famous shipwreck of the boat Paul was being taken to Rome. Although more recent findings, due to weather and snakes, and shipping routes for the time of year suggest it was actually one of the southernmost Greek Islands the they came ashore on. but its a lovely spot from which to view the setting sun. And many of the Maltese spend each night, dressing up and strolling up and down the sea front, just to see and be seen, and watch the sunset, ever such a pleasant pastime, there is a special name for this activity, does anyone know I don't.
