This is one of our favorite places to stop on our drive to Southern California.  We stopped here on our way home this time.  It was gorgeous, as usual!  Wish we could've stayed there at the lodge for the night.  I would've liked to photograph it at sunrise.  Maybe next trip.  The three of us girls were all suffering from colds and just wanted to keep heading home.  Here's one of several shots I took that day at Twin Lakes.

I really like the reflections in the water.  Oh, how I'd like to see the mountains again.

I agree it would be nice to see this at sunrise.  Perhaps on another trip?
