Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Hi everyone. I know I haven't stopped in for a while, but I wanted to say hi and also to post some pics from a recent trip. I visited a Japanese Garden here in Fresno and spent about three hours filling my camera with hundreds of pictures. I experimented with camera settings and angles, etc. and I think I came home with quite a few nice ones, but still have to wade through them all. I'll try to post more in this series as I get the best pictures polished up. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. :)

Hi Deb,

I've been there with my family.  We had a good laugh, since we stopped by on our way back to Japan!  What are we doing here, the family, all joked. <3

Your shots are composed nicely, but the light is a bit harsh.  It looks like it was a bright, hazy day.  The lighting could be adjusted some after shooting, if you have editing software.  The other option is the old photog's rule, "shoot early, shoot late".

Ohhh, wonder if we have a Japanese Garden in our area.  That looks like a lovely place to visit Deb.

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass .... it's about learning to dance in the rain!

I still don't know if we have one in this part of Ontario or not.

Come summer, I'm going to check.
