The heart of the righteous studies how to answer, but the mouth of the wicked pours forth evil. Proverbs 15:28
T-H-I-N-K
Alan Redpath, former pastor at Moody Memorial Church in Chicago (1953-1962), recommended that we give ourselves a "think before you speak" test by asking ourselves five questions:
T: "Is it True?"
H: "Is it Helpful?"
I: "Is it Inspiring?"
N: "Is it Necessary?"
K: "Is it Kind?"
If what we're about to say doesn't pass this test, it's best to keep quiet.
AMEN Don!
Love it !!
Thanks, Don, now I have to practise patience before I T.H.I.N.K.
Hadn't thought of T-H-I-N-K in those terms but have the same idea is that....That's pretty handy, Don! ;)
