Howdy howdy hey ya'll! 

My name is Christina and I am SO stoked that I found this forum! I'm 28 years old from North Carolina and I've only just recently(in the last 4 years) picked up the hobby, but man is it FUN!

I am by no means a professional, not even an advanced amatuer. Just like taking pictures of subject matter that I find interesting and learning more as I go.

I currently shot with my wee little 3.1 MP HP digital, a Minolta Maxxum 7000 SLR, and just this past weeked I picked up a medium format Rapid Omega with several lenses that I'm really excited about - we'll see if I'm still this excited once I learn how to use it well enough! haha 

I like the conveinence (sp*) of digital and well the fact that it doesn't cost me anything to develop, but I really enjoy the quality and challenge of shooting with film.

Anyways....sorry for the long ramble! Like I said, I'm really stoked about this forum and I can't wait to share stuff and glean all kinds of great info from you guys!

Well Hey there right backatcha, Christina!      I'm glad you found this place too!      You can find most of us over in New Every Morning most of the time.  That's where we meet for coffee or tea or whatever and fellowship just about any time of the day or night.  I'll be watching for you and interested in seeing the results of your photography adventures.

Hi! I'm actually about 2 hours from Asheville, North of Charlotte in a place called Statesville.

I know exactly where statesvlle is.   maybe we can get together sometime.  meet half way in morganton or go up towards boone or something.

That would be awesome, either way- Morganton or Boone....I don't know my way around either of those places really- suffice to say I can find a gas station and food!
