G'day all!

Just found this site and it looks like it's pretty awesome!  I'm (obviously) from Australia, and married (to an American), and we have a little boy (16 months old).  We are about to undertake a big change of lifestyle - moving to a new city and changing jobs.  We're wanting to spend more time doing things that are important rather than just working for a living.  This means I'll get to spend more time with my family, more time learning about and getting closer to God, and more time making photos!

Anyway, I will keep this post short, it's getting late here in Australia (1145pm).

Welcome to a real nice place to be.  Besides my own forum, this is where I spend most of my time besides other forum's.

I see TBear with her basket of Apples & welcome flair, has welcomed ya there.  Just a silly rhyme, as I'm often times found doing here.

Great to be able to welcome you to this site!

We have lots on here for folks who aren't into photography but we have lots to offer the photographers as well. 

We have what's like the local coffee shop on here where everyone meets daily and shares their thoughts and spiritual thoughts and we sing hymns together, etc.  It's called "New Every Morning" which is suggesting that God's Word to Christians is forever "new every morning".

Hope to see you there.  We're looking forward to being able to get to know you much better and it's wonderful to have someone from Australia here.

What kind of camera do you use and what's your favorite type of photography?  I just recently upgraded to a Nikon 8700 but really wanted the Nikon D70 but alas, the add ons were too much for me to consider at this time.

Anyway, come to New Every Morning for today's date and say "Hi".  The coffee is fresh and the tea is constantly being freshly steeped and I've made some Ulster Wheaten Bread and it's great with homemade Lemon Curd!
