Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Hello from South Africa.  My name is Marida and I am 35 years old.  My home language is Afrikaans (it's almost like dutch), bear with my english please.  I am a bit nervous at the moment.  I have never been a part of something like this - not even quite sure how websites work exactly.  But I have a joyful happy heart and adore our Lord Jesus Christ!  And I am sure you'll be gentle with this first-timer yes?  :)  I'm sure I'll relax a bit more once I start understanding how the basic stuff works - I am VERY NEW to the Internet still!!

In December I'll be 35.  I've been a single working mum for the past 14 years (except this year), my boy turns 15 in April.  He is such a special little guy!!   <3  Our Father God knew exactly what He was doing when I fell pregnant with him!  Glory!  What a Blessing he is to his mum.  My Fiancè and I have been seeing each other for 5 years and got engaged past December.  Our Lord Jesus Christ picked us up from a lost world 3 years ago and we were Saved!  Hallelujah Lord Jesus!

God has truly given us NEW LIFE!  Where I live, we are considered poor but happy.  We don't see it that way.  We are in need of nothing.  Our cup does runneth over - Praise God!  Never has He forsaken us - never has He not taken care of us.  I don't need a lifetime of knowing God to understand His Faithfulness - my life is living proof.  Oh I am so in love with our God!

We don't have many true believers around here and the churches around us preaches manmade doctrines which our Father did not give His Permission to through His Word.  They use corrupted bibles and we have been hurt by deceipt many times.  The Lord has never closed doors on us without opening the right ones, thus, we do get fed and taught, even if it's another country's pastors --- GLORY!  But fellowship we miss.  I know God intended us all to inspire, motivate, support, care, lift-up, surround, love and nurture one another in His Body.

At a later stage I'll share more on how and why I believe I've found the right place.  Glory to God Almighty!!  Lord Jesus, we lift Your Beautiful Name on HIGH.  We Love You Deeply, Lord, and we seek more and more of You each second of each day, Lord.

Father, Bless all these wonderful people in this community.  Cause them to realise afresh how Faithful You Are, Father - no stone for bread, my Lord.  There is none like You, Lord Jesus!  We Bless You, Lord!  We Honor You, Father.
Amen and Amen.  xx

From Michael, We seem to have met in the gallery, yes welcome aboard, and really glad to have you, don't be too nervous, get some of your pictures on the website, and share your experiences with everyone, its the only way to learn. It was confusing when I joined navigating around where everything is, and where everything goes, I put all my pictures where they shouldn't be, fortunately, they are a patient lot, and will only be too glad to help if you get in a muddle. :newbie: :grouphug: God bless you now, Michael

WELCOME MERIDA!!!  Sure glad you came by here!  Do they have any Dutch Reformed churches in that area?  I have quite a bit of Dutch background.  Anyway, like you, we love our Lord Jesus Christ, so come on in and fellowship in Him!

Hi there.
We seem to have a large influx of South Africans in our area.  There are at least five on the staff of my wife's school.  We have an Africaans couple just coming into membership at our church (provided I forgive them for nicking OUR world cup).  The two houses on our church site are occupied by South African tenants - a family of black South Africans in one and an Africaans lady in the other.

I was right.....everyone in this community is so warm and friendly....thank you all for the heartfelt welcome.  Glad to be here.  I understand that where I am is 6 hours ahead of most of you.  It's almost 04h30 in the morning where I am now  :-\

Marilyn, I hope your training went well yesterday, thought of you.  Btw I just love your ocean shots!

Michael and Etta Sue, thank you both for your guidance with the photography.  Will sure make use of all helpful tips I get.  Thanks.

Al, yes there are some churches in this province called by that name.  Please do share about your Dutch background, I would love to know more.

Pat, thank you.  What a friendly place to visit, I've aslso learned a great deal since I arrived here.  We are all in Gods' Service and it is great to be among people who gets it.  Thank You for having me....   xx

Wordsculptor, what a game that was!  In all fairness if I may, I think if the game was longer, we would have lost it.  Your team is great!  I hope the South Africans there behave themselves and remember they are guests in your country.  Good to hear from a fellow-respecter of the game   ;D

JudyB, thank you for your warm welcome.  I hope your feeling better today, and that the remedy helped with relief.  My boy and I also didn't want to get that flu shot, so we started taking vitamin c tablets.  First winter neither of us fell sick.

I pasted a beautiful story in the "Thoughts for the Week" section which really touched my heart because I relate so much.  Be sure to take a look.

Warm wishes for you all for the day.........I guess I should retire now.

I was 'privileged' to have an Africaans lady (who teaches at school with my wife) to dinner when we played SA in the early round of the cup because her TV wasn't working.  The 36-0 drubbing we received was only slightly eclipsed by the deafness caused by the shrieks and whistles from the seat alongside me.  However she was in Holland for the final so I had a relatively peaceful (if tense) game.  I have no qualms about SA winning - they never lost a match all through the tournament and deserved their win.  I was also encouraged by England's performance especially after their abysmal early rounds.  We are pleased to loan you the cup.
