Christian Photographers Community

My name is Ben Jones, and I live in northeast Indiana.  I received Christ as Lord and Savior on February 2, 1975, and while I have not always been faithful to Him, He has always been faithful to me.  My life verse is Titus 3:3 thru 6; "Once we too were foolish and disobediant. We were misled by others and became slaves to many evil pleasures and wicked desires.  Our lives were filled with resentment and envy.  We hated others and they hated us.  But when the time for the kindness and love of God our Savior came, He then saved us!  Not because we were good enough to be saved, but because of His kindness and pity.  He washed away our sins and has given us the new joy of the indwelling Holy Spirit whom He poured out upon us richly, and because of what Jesus Christ our Savior did, He now declares us good in God's eyes."

I've been a professional photographer for over 23 years, and I own my own 4000 square foot studio on main street in my home town.  I also teach photography at a local community college.  I'm a recent grandfather of a little boy, the son of my oldest son who lives in Columbus Ohio.   Look for some of my long winded postings on how to take better people pictures in the future, as I love Jesus and I love to teach!

It's wonderful to read that you are a believer and what a wonderful verse.

Welcome aboard, Ben.  I thank you for your PM yesterday.  I always get excited when I find out a neighbor has become a new member to CP. 

I missed my calling years ago when I became interested in photography.  I should have pursued it more and became a professional.  I also love to travel.  Should have become a travel agent as well.  But I didn't.  So now I travel through others photographs!
