Hello Christian friends!

This is Duchan, a 41-year-old American living in Germany.  Despite my nationality, I have spent a total of 35 years in this country.  I enjoy photography, reading, and writing.  My genre of photography is street photography, taking candid shots of pedestrians in public places, documenting on film the interaction of mankind, awaiting the unexpected, yes, even the surreal. 

Christian friends, please pray that I might return to the Lord, I have, I must be honest, been backsliding and need guidance.  I dearly miss the former depth of my faith.

Welcome, Duchan! I'm so happy to see you posting.  I'm looking forward to seeing your photography as well.  We use the New Every Morning discussion sort of like our corner coffee shoppe and that's where we really get to know each other so hopefully you'll join us there.

Duchan, I'll be praying for you in the coming days.  I remember many, many years ago when I lived in Northern Ireland hearing a sermon preached on Hosea 5:15 which says, " I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early." and then the lovely first verse of Chapter 6 which says, "Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up." (Hosea 6:1)

Oh, may this be your experience in the coming days.

We are so glad you have joined us here. I will pray for you to rededicate you life to the Lord.  I can understand that it can seem so hard to do but it isn't that hard not really. All you have to to is go to the fAther in prayer and ask forgivness for your sins. Repent. He is Just waiting to forgive you and never to remember your sins.  Come on over to New Every

DUCHAN:  Welcome, welcome, welcome.....I love your "tender heart" approach.  Please know that I have been a "back-sliding" Christian in the past as well.  Never had I felt so lonely and depressed when I tried to live without the Lord.

Others before me have shown you what to say and what to do in order to come back to the Lord.

I truly hope and pray that you make that decision.  Please let us know., and come on over to New Every Morning, and have a cyer cup of coffee with us!
