So nice to see you here.  A big to you!  Hope to see your photos soon.  Just make yourself right at home in our little community.  We're not that big but the fellowship is sweet.

thank you for your welcome Don and Pat. I have been a Christian since 1974 and am now 63.I live in Adelaide South Australia. I have been into photography since 1970 and have photographed many weddings since 1975.I have a family in Adelaide and will possibly talk a little about my family later but i am very protective of family and individual privacy. I have long been an advocate of using my camera for God. I work in the Australian Government in the welfare sector assisting people who are on un employment benefits.I have a great interest in photographing all of God's creation. Birds,animals, landscape, plants. I use a Canon digital slr and aslo Pentax slr. Also interested in video.I am a person who is passionate about people coming to know Jesus as not only Saviour but Lord.knowing not only forgiveness for their own sins but healing from the effect on them of the sins of others. I have trained many photographers in wedding photography primarily.I have looked at this forun on and off for some time and may not have a lot of time to spend on it.I was a member of Digital wedding Photographer's forum for some time but did not get round to posting. I look forward to meeting some Christian friends here who have similar interests and those who don't.  regards  geofft

Welcome to Christian Photographers "geofft" ! My wife Pat, who loves photography, is the photographer still in the learning process, and I enjoy taking pictures but am not very good at it. I actually have more fun with the graphics, as I learned a little Photoshop, and two of my four children are professional artists. Pat and I love our Lord and Savior as number one in our lives, and we love to fellowship with other Christians and this site has that purpose.

Please feel right at home here and we look forward to fellowshipping with you and seeing your masterful photography.

Welcome Geoff To Christian Photographers

Thank you all of you for your kind greetings and thoughts. As a family we have been going through deep waters this year and this is still ongoing. I am not good at internet interaction and not very supportive of things like facebook etc.I have started a blog since august this year however and only told a handful of people about it. I have attached a link to the photography articles on my blog which are a lot fewer than  the theology blogs, which is more my emphasis at the moment but have just recently returned from a holiday in Canberra, Australia's capital city ,and will show some nice photos on my blog in due course or on this forum if I can work out how to do that. you will soon get the drift of where I am coming from by looking at my blog but please don't get the idea I am just an intense older Christian. That's true but I am a great believer in good humour being medicine for the soul.There is a slide show from a holiday to central Australia in July this year that you might enjoy. One of my sons set the blog up for me and he works in the film industry and is based in Adelaide. Yours in Christ. Geofft

hi Pat , thanks for your comments on my blog. I did post a reply to you on my blog.I'm not sure how that gets to you.I just worked out Paul on here is also your husband.I catch on quick. I had to look at your wedding photos, very nice. Hi Paul.If you have any children who are interested in nerdy things follow the link on my blog to my son Daniel's blog. He is very talented at what they call computer generated animation. He started off in the the creative film industry doing wedding videos and went on from there. regards geoff t
