Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

We're doing a special thing this week during our nightly family worship. Every night of the week we are reading from the gospels what was happening to our Lord on that day, or when it is unclear specifically, we are reading His parables and learning about His teaching during this period. Each night we light our candles, each one represents a day of the week beginning with Palm Sunday (all 5 candles lit). Each day we extinguish one candle as we read our first bit of scripture, all candles going dark on Friday as we read the crucifixion. When my children wake Sunday on resurrection day, all the candles will be lit ("He is risen!!!"), and I will add one more to it to represent the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost (of course, that was later a bit, but for our purposes the symbols are great teaching tools).

It occurred to me tonight to snap a picture of our little candles on our "family table". Thought you all might enjly...

What a time of learning for each of you.  I do believe each of you will take something different from the week's texts.

Well done!
