Title: Couldn't Sleep Again
Post by: Summicron on July 19, 2009, 07:53:06 PM
Had a cup of water by the bed, when I can't get over sometimes I just switch a weak led torch on, helps, this time though it it brought out the colours of the cup, and I've been wondering how led lights would render subjects as they seem close to daylight colour temperatures, anyway I had a go using a much brighter torch and the camera propped on something. Switching the bedside touch lamp on added some warm colouration, that's broke, can't find another to replace it with, knocked it over and smashed a couple of the glass panels. That's me though there isn't a moment when I'm not dropping things or knocking things over, or loosing my balance and crashing into things, O seem prone to wreckage.

I love the colours in the cup.  Really beautiful.

Perhaps taking the lamp to a glass cutter, and getting a couple of new panels cut would fix the lamp.  The base of it is lovely as well.

The lamp was only eight pounds, and the panels were curved, impossible to replace.
