Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Taken 5:30 or so...

Normal setting...

Switched to 'vivid'...and I think I may have set the shutter speed on higher number setting...I tried to check but it didn't save that info when converted to jpg...

Please excuse me if I didn't say that 'shutter setting' right...all I do is turn dials knowing what the other does and though I understand what shutter and aperture are I'm just concentrating on those dials....

There is a verse in Matthew that says Red sky in the morning let it be a warning.  Was that taken today?  If so are you expecting stormy weather?

I too understand the terms but too I am just turning dials to get the picture I want.  I understand what you are saying.

Beautiful pictures.  Well done.

Just gorgeous, Juanita!  Talk about settings goes over my head  :D but whatever you did, it was right.

Thank you Judy and Jeanne!

I know this is a little past-Judy, we did have a really nice storm the following day. We don't get the thunderstorms and lightning like use to when we first moved back here in '93...or it seems like it! When we visited in '81 in PA I was so fascinated how it would thunder and lightning then the next moment the sun was peaking through clouds and shining on the raindrops falling from the trees...Storms like that were far and few between in ORE.

Red sky at morning, shepherds warning, red sky at night, shepherds delight, red sky at midnight, some clowns set your barn alight. Up, up, up a bit, an upward tilt just to lower the horizon slightly and include more of those wonderfull fanning clouds, would have improved the last two shots. Like the bronzy clouds in the bottom picture the most, and the sun just large enough peeping through the branches.
