Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

The way the autumn colour of the tree has been picked up in the meandering stream is brilliant. The way the stream leads in from the bottom right hand corner of the frame leads the eye nicely into the upper part of the frame, again because of the yellow reflections, there is once again a tie between that and the tree further strengthening the lead in with the stream, The Titling fonts are clever by using one capital to start two words gives the cover impact, and the choice of red adds a wonderful cheerfulness to the cover as there are no reds in your actual picture, so the titling adds the final colour to each of the primaries, red yellow green and blue, further more, yellow green and blue are either a dark shadowy tone (green) or tending towards pastel shades, yellow, blue, and even that tuft of grass, thus emphasising the warm cheerful red fonts. The white lettering stands out well and balances well the whole layout of the magazine cover, not a bad job at all, well done. Oh I forgot that strip of black banking gives the whole thing a border to stop the eye running out of the top of the picture, the eye is also brought round nicely by the dark tree trunksback to the stream. Then again we have the continuation of the trunks reflected in the water, so the top and bottom of the picture are again connected by these dark threads running through the frame.

Thanks so much, Summicron!  Though, I can only take credit for the photo, not the text.  ;)

Without that photo the text would lose a lot of impact.  Good job!

Thanks, Becky!  Autumn is my favorite time of year.  I love spring too though, and more since I've moved North.  So nice to see color and flowers after the long monochromatic winters.
