walking by a crowded street
pause when someone I meet
Their clothes are dirty yet they smile
This woman of age I could not guess
Lived so confined
seems blessed
She said love others no matter what they do
For this is what the master asks of us to do
I pondered for a moment to wonder upon gazing at her tiny home on the street
eyes of compassion
I will never forget
Unto the least of these
Ye have done unto me
Oh, Ann! You certainly have a gift.
My late husband could write little poems but I have no gift of doing this at all. Thanks so much for sharing in here.
