I wrote this for a friend of mine who is going through a tough time.
My friend, don't cry for what you left,
Trust God's purpose for you here.
Don't mourn the years in passing swift,
Remember that He feels your private tears.
Leave the loneliness that holds your heart,
See His love in His Hands where you stand.
Take courage, my friend, as Jacob once did,
And wrestle a while, His blessings demand.
Unburden your dreams in the Heart of the King,
And remember you have room to grow.
To Him who gave them, all your hopes bring,
And the bond of loneliness will let go.
I admire your strength of quiet grace,
As stubborn as it may be.
And know that you always will have,
A heart of friendship and prayer in me.
Awesome.
Very encouraging and uplifting.
Ain't God good?
Very uplifting, and beautiful Jen.
Jen ~ I am going to run out superlatives if you keep writing poems so well. I love them! Super wonderful
Thank you for the wonderful responses. I had to write something for her, it hurt me to see how much she was trying to hide what was bothering her. I figured, the least I could do was let her know I'm praying for her.
I'm your biggest fan Jen! Keep on using the gifts God has given you.
Love ya,
Ethan
