What boundless mercy hath my God
who called me to salvation
All praise to Him who is the hope
of every man and nation
He holds me safe at His right hand
and should my footsteps falter
Prepared before I knew was need
were springs of living water
What evil shall rise, or curse oppress
my Lord cannot oppose?
The One who took the hand of death
and o'er it Victor rose
All ye men that know His worth
shoudl Alleluia to the King
Let it echo in His courthouse,
all honor to him sing.
Turn from all paths of wickedness,
the strangers way deride
Lift up your soul unto the Lamb,
our Redeemer glorified.

I wrote this a couple years ago, but somehow don't think it can ever be outdated. :)
It has the flavor of some of the old hymns
