I surrender all my life this day to Thee, Lord.
Yielded to Thy will I want to be.
May I be a servant true for Thee, Lord,
So that others may see Jesus Christ in me.

Yielded are my hands, my feet
I yield my heart, Lord.
Yielded are my time, possessions, too.
Yielded are my mind, my eyes, my ears, Lord.
I now yield my all to Thee this day anew.

Yielded are my voice, my tongue,
I yield my lips, Lord.
Yielded are my attitude, my will,
Yielded are my thoughts, my health and strength, Lord.
All day long, dear Lord, may I be yielded still.

I now yield to Thee my talents and my wealth, Lord.
Help me as I live for thee today,
As an instrument of righteousness, Lord,
Take me, use me, precious Lord, I humbly pray.

Yielded to Thy will, Lord,
Yielded to Thy will,
Fill me with Thy Spirit,
Yielded to Thy will.
Mold me and make me; They servant to be
I'm yielded to Thy will, O Lord!

wanted to write a poem or a song about yielding to my Lord.  I do this every morning.  I have tried to put down on paper my thoughts.  May 24, 1997, (revised, August 20, 1999).I put my thoughts into words for a song.

It is so very important for all God's people to surrender and yield themselves to Him each morning.  If this was done, it would greatly help in detecting the snares of the world, the flesh and the devil.  It would help keep them from being deceived and blinded by sin and worldliness.

What a meaningful poem.

Thank you so much for sharing it with us, Judith.  Oh, that we all might be yielded only to Him and strive to do His will daily.

Thank you, Jeanne! Since you see "chorus" it has been set to music. I don't play much any more, but I play the autoharp and my husband and I sing duets, when the opportunity arises.  :)
