Asian Mini Chicken Loaves
Prep Time 15 minutes
Bake Time 20 minutes approx.
l lb ground chicken or turkey
2 green onions chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup chili sauce or ketchup
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp fine dry bread crumbs
1 tsp grated ginger root
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes or
black pepper
4 Hard Boiled Eggs
1. Combine ground chicken (turkey), onions, garlic, chili sauce, soy sauce, bread crumbs, ginger root and pepper flakes;mix well. Divide into 4
2. Shape mixture around eggs until completely enclosed. Place on greased baking sheet.
3. Bake at 400 deg F about 20 minutes or until chicken or turkey is no longer pink inside. Serves 4
Hints: For an Asian style meal serve loaves with rice and stir-fried veg. Vary the heat level of the loaves according to your tase, use black pepper instead of crushed red pepper flakes for a milder level. I also left the ginger root out (I did not have any in the house). You could use ground beef instead.
