Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Hi everyone,
My apologies for being away for so long.  A lot has happened since I last logged on.  Wow!  God has blessed me recently more than I could have ever imagined!  I thought that my last praise report of what God has done was big, but this one is even more amazing!  Just a short recap of the previous one...I had a change in shifts at my job from nights to evenings, and had been given full time hours.  I was blessed to be working full time, and to finally be getting sleep at night.  Well, God gives and God takes away.  Either that, the enemy was trying to destroy God's plans for me.  I'm not sure, I think it was the latter.  Not long after I started working full time evening shift there, things started getting bad with the management.  I don't know if I mentioned that they changed management...but they did in Feb.  I had wondered if I should stay there, even after I was given full time hours, but I thought I would give them a chance.  This management was only interested in one thing:  how much money they can save.   They started cutting staff and they cut the budget in supplies, affecting our ability to do our work and give care to these poor residents.  They began to find ways to get rid of staff who had been working there for a while, so they could hire in new (as well as less experienced) people for less.  I was one of them.  My hours were cut from the 40 a week they had just given me down to 8 a week, forcing me to look for another job.  My replacement was a nurse who had just graduated from nursing school.  I began to wonder if I should have taken that other job that I had applied for previously.  But I couldn't dwell on that; I had to start searching for another job with more than 8 hours a week.  People I worked with asked me, "How can they do that to you?"  I just said to them, "Well, God must have something better for me."
And that He did.  He is awesome.  The rest of my story/testimony I have written in a blog.  Please follow this link to read it.  I wrote it in this blog so that I wouldn't have to re-write it every time I wanted to share it.
My mind is still blown by His faithfulness and awesome blessings!

I hope to become active on this forum again, as I enjoyed fellowshipping with you all here, and sharing images.  Praying everyone is well, and looking forward to sharing in the Lord.

Oh to fully realize that the awsome God of the universe really does care about what we care about - that He does care about our feelings, emotions, etc.  He just wants you and I to know that He loves us and will bless us.  He obviously has blessed you!  Oh arise each day committed to serving Him in what you do that day.

Don

I am happy for you Kelly and thank you for that wonderful testimony.

Blessed be the Lord!
