Title: Adri's request
Post by: Al Moak on January 24, 2006, 09:50:30 AM
Adri posted this request in NEM today, and I thought it might be good to post it here as well.

I need to ask you all to pray for a friend of mine, Jennifer, I hope you don't mind...She was in a car accident round about the 15th of Jan and her spine was injured...Thank God she is not paralyzed.  I only heard about this today.  Her husband and kids were in the car with her and even though the car had been written of they're all without any serious injuries.  On top of this she has to go for tests on 31 Jan as she might have cancer of the uterus.  The doctor told her that he is almost 100% sure that this is the case, but she has to go for the tests to be certain.  I know that nothing is impossible for God.  Her husband wants to get a divorce and this is not what God wants I know this as divorce is not condoned by God.  So you see that is why I've decided to ask you all to join me in this prayer fight against the evil that is trying to take away from her.

Adri, as you have already noticed, this community believes in prayer and that God is in control of every situation.  I am praying for your friend, and her family, that they will know the peace that passes all understanding, and that they will fnd their answers in a closer relationship with the Lord.  Fear is not from God ... perfect love casts out fear.  God bless each of you as you draw closer to Him.

Just thought that I should up date you all on Jennifers situation...she didn't go for the tests as she says that she is tooooo afraid to go to the doctors office in fear that the prognosis might be bad.

One good thing though, her husband has decided to stick by her and they will not be getting divorced, therefor I thank you all who prayed and I thank God for hearing our prayers.

I am praying.

It is good that the marriage will survive.

I pray that she changes her mind and goes for the tests.  One's health is so important.  Even if the prognosis is bad, if ignored, it could get worse and fast!
