I can't believe it was almost 2.5 yrs since I first posted on this topic.
After all that time and more...Sandra finally filed for and is divorced. While he may have admitted at one time that the problem of porn was his own doing, he did not change.
Sandra is now a single mom and adjusting OK, but I suspect when she is alone after the kids are in bed, and the lights are out and she is left to her thoughts...she wonders: What did I do? or Was this really God's plan? or How will I and the kids get through this?
So we pray for her to have wisdom in making decisions. We pray that her money will be enough to sustain the family...all the while knowing that God will meet her every need.
She is still praying for Jim's salvation, as are we.
And we'll pray along with you, Ed. I'm praying for my son's ex as well and it's difficult as she still calls me "Mum" and we seem to be as close as ever.
Count me in on being a prayer warrior along with you.
Divorce is never "easy" -- for anyone. Sometimes it is the only answer, however. :-\ I know.
Glad you brought us this update, Ed. I will focus my prayers in another direction now --- that God will continue to sustain Sandra and that HE will supply all her needs. I also pray for peace in the home and the feeling of security for the children. Prayers continue, also, for Jim's salvation and complete deliverance.
And I urgently echo my sister Jane's prayers for Sandra, Jim, and the family. And I additionally pray that Sandra will see some special good in the midst of all these negatives.
I too will join Pat, Jane and Al in prayer for Sandra.

It is always hard as a parent to watch our kids are hurting...we want to run over and hug them and sooth their pain like we did when they were little.
But I do know that God is in the midst of our trials and storms..and Sandra does too.
I just found out that my co-chairman on a project is separated from his wife. My first thought was, "Satan is at work destroying marriages wherever he can."
It hurts and it's sad...all at once
