I received a phone call from Megan tonight  As she talked I knew there was an urgent need for prayer.

She has a cornual pregnancy  

Here is the situation from her perspective.

My sugars are high and are concerned about diabetes. The baby is so far good and healthy however apparently it can change at any moment. I am worried about the baby and my family. Some women are successful with this but very few. Hopefully I am.....

Those are her words.  She gave me more websites, but said that one is the best.  Being a nurse she looked up the information on this and knows the risks.  She can bleed out in 10 minutes, they are at least 30 from the nearest hospital.  Megan is at 23 weeks.  At 25 survival rate is higher.  There is also the diabetes concern.  They are continuing to test for that.

I am feeling an urgency to get people praying.  Praying for continued healing and that the baby will go to term without complication.

Judy, this sounds like a very serious situation and I will certainly be praying that all is well and that the Lord give she and all of her family comfort during this trying time.

Father God, I pray for Megan and her baby, for Doug, for Judy and John and the other concerned relatives.  You created Megan, you know her body in all it's intracasies, and you can make everything right.  Thank you for holding this mother and baby in your arms and keeping them safe.  In the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

Judy, I am also praying and starting phone calls to our church members to be in prayer as well.

Thank you to everyone who is praying.  I will keep you  updated.  Megan was pretty upset with all this when I talked to her earlier.

Judy, this is indeed truly serious and I'm so sorry that Megan and Doug are going through this. 

I will be praying for them both.

I have offered up a prayer on your family's behalf.  Praying for all concerns.  Our God is an awesome God!

Oh Father, I admit that I don't know exactly how to pray about this baby.  But I know I want to hold them up to You.  I know I want them to receive Your wondrous love, mercy and grace.  Oh God, let them know Your hand upon them through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Thank you so very, very much, Gord, for your concerrn.  I'm not sleeping entirely in bed yet.  Pray that I'll solve that one.  I am thankful, though, that I'm getting adequate rest.  I thank our God for this recliner.  Bless the Lord, O my soul!

I have let Doug and Meg (while they were here) read all the posts and prayer going up for them.  Thank you again.

Megan has an appointment at the OB/GYN next week.  I will update you after that.

We are at 28 weeks!!!  12 left to go!  So far so good!

Oh Father, You are the all-glorious God, worthy of all praise and thanksgiving.  Oh Father, we cannot "gang up" on You, thinking to get what we want by increasing the number of prayers.  But we desire You to be greatly glorified in all this.  Oh let our simple prayers be blessed, and let this baby be dealt with in Your mercy and grace.  And Megan as well.  Oh Lord, let Thy Name be greatly lifted up through Thy Son.

 :)   Al:   Thanks for your beautiful prayer for the baby and mother.  I was talking to Judy yesterday and they seem very positive about this problem and doing there best to do what the medical profession tells them May the Lord be with them.

To all we hope that you all have a wonderful week and please pray for my wife as she trays very hard to get things together to go on this trip with all 5 of her sisters on a cruise and I am a little worried that she will be o.k.  But I know that the Lord will be with her but some extra prayer will always help for Noreen.  Then on the 12Th I will go to Florida to meet her when she comes of the ship and we are staying to visit till the 27Th and then come home.  We are so grateful that the Lord gives us the op pertunity to do this.

When Megan was at the doctor last she read the news that caused this prayer request.  Doug read it as well.  They read the reports from the many ultrasounds she has had.  The news as you well know was not good.  I was told to pray and to get as many people praying as I could . 

The results of all that prayer are in.


This has gone farther than just a doctor saying everything is normal she looked at the reports again today and THEY DON'T EXIST.   She had her OB/GYN appointment and that is the result.  Once a report has been entered into the computer it cannot be removed or changed.  Thing is she and Doug read the reports...

So I asked her if she thought this was because of prayer?  Her response was, "What else could it be?  I read the reports myself, so did Doug!"

So folks thank you for praying.   <3  Thank you  thank you.  :) 

What an awesome God we have!  Praise His name!

God is SO GOOD ... all the time! 

We are expecting the same sort of "result" for my neighbor, who has been told there is a problem with a heart valve.  The Dr. is going to have her "swallow a camera" next week to pinpoint the exact problem and then is suggesting open heart surgery.  We have been praying and both she and her husband are expecting that the procedure will show there really is nothing amiss in her heart!  I believe -- I KNOW  God can do anything. 

We had a scare tonight.  Megan developed problems this morning early while at work.  Wound up in hospital with contractions.  She had to have a test done, and the test tells if the lady is in pre-term labour.  Thankfully the test came back negative.  Please continue to pray for Megan.  I really feel God has something BIG planned for this lad, and the enemy is trying to thwart the plan.

 :)  Judy B.  and John.   This must be very hard to have this on your shoulders but the Lord will give you the strength to get through this  hard time. God has always told us in his word that he will hear our prayers and many are praying for Doug and Meagen and the baby. Judy and John keep the faith. :thumbsup:

As you can see I will be fist on for today and just let you all know that I will be gone till the end of Feb. so I will not be on C.P.    I ask again that you would pray for my wife Noreen and I as we get away to Florida to visit friends and my wife's cousin also to go on a weekend cruise to Nassau so we are hoping for good weather and also that Noreen will feel good enough to enjoy.  So I will close for now and keep those posting coming.  God bless to all.    Gord and Noreen. :) :cp:

I have spent a lot of time with Doug and Megan this week as Doug did the repairs to our van.  The baby has settled on Megan's hip and pinching her sciatic nerve making walking...working very difficult.  she is at 33 weeks, and is looking forward to delivering Nathaniel.  Her mom paid to have a 3D ultrasound taken, we have a copy.  It is really interesting to be introduced to this little lad before he is born.  They are such good parents.  Pray that the baby shifts position to make walking/work easier.

I'm still praying.
