Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Urgent

Please pray for us and the area around Atlanta. We live in front of the Yellow River and thought the rain could never get this high. But it's knocking at our back door.
I would appreciate all of your prayers. It's not raining right now. Praise God! But today and tonight has a possibility of from 1-5 more inches. Pray that the Lord be praised through it all. :cp: :cp:

Don

I'll be praying Steve. I remember Floyd and what it did here in my area. Not a pretty sight.

Why don't you post your prayer request here also.

Steve I am praying.  I know how bad flooding can be.

Steve, I am praying for you and everyone endangered by the river.

Praying here also, we have a number of relatives in the Atlanta/Metro area, and knew of the concern.

Flooding can be so devastating, and even a "little" water in the house causes much damage.  I am praying for your safety and the protection of your home and belongings.

A very hearty amen to Janet's prayer.  Father, show them Your powerful hand of mercy through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Prayed for you last night Steve, and again today! God is faithful!

AMEN Steve that is what I was praying for.

Steve, God helped us last night with no more significant rain and the sun sure looked good today.  Sure hope the water didn't get to your house.

Carol

Fotobirder Steve:  My prayers for relief from the rain and that you and all will be safe.

Pat

Thanks for the updates, folks!  Been praying about this situation.

I've also been quite concerned for all the devastation in and around Atlanta. Yesterday I finally reached my children who live in the area, and they haven't been able to get out of their neighborhood for several days.

How sad I am - I've experienced first hand how flooding can stress and endanger a family's health, welfare, and finances.

May God's presence be real and comforting to each person affected in the areas that are flood prone - not only in Georgia, but in all the areas affected by these problems.
...his compassions fail not.  They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

JudyB

HOw are things weather wise now.  Has there been any more rain?

Larry Hanna

Judy, we had a lot more rain (5 to 7 inches more) in some areas north of Atlanta and the western areas around Atlanta with flash flood and flood warning.  We did not get too much rain here in our area.

Ruth Ann, sorry to hear your family has been impacted where they live.  Hope their home was all right.

JudyB

Thanks Larry.  I will continue to pray.  This reminds me of the old time hymn Master the Tempest in Raging....  Message this morning was on that.
