The daughter of a dear friend lives in Guatemala.  Her husband an airplane mechanic, has dissapeared, and no one knows where he is.  The police are involved, but this has been 3 days now.  The family here both wife's and husband's are Christians and,really concerned and we are waiting for word.

Pray peace on the family here in Canada.  Pray protection on the family in Guatemala.

Oh Father, in Thy mercy grant peace and a deep trust in You to the family, and Oh Father, protect those dear people in Guatamala from those who hate them, especially Satan.  I pray You'll also grant that this man may quickly be found, that he may be alive and well, and that You will be glorified in it all through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen .... Judy, I'm praying, too.

Oh my, I will definitely be praying for this man and the family.

Me, too.  I think that not knowing must be one of the hardest things to bear.

I have received an update.

About 2 months ago they were in a terrible accident.  The husband received most of the injuries, with shards of glass in his arms face and left eye.  He has been making regular trips to the hospital to get the glass removed.  The medical profession has had to wait till the glass moved to the surface of the skin to have it removed.  Now taking that and realizing that it is only GOd that any of them were still alive we can and have been praising God that they were spared.

We are now two months down the road and the husband is having violent flashbacks We now know that there is a severe case of post tramatic stress disorder.

HE has gone home with his wife, under the care of doctors and the pastors of their church.  These pastors are qualified counsellors. 

I am not sure of what the next step is.  I will update when I know.  I don't know if he has kept his job, because he has missed work there was a comment made by my friend that he may have lost his job.
