Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Hi Everybody!
As you can see, I still have not learned how to add color or images or anything, but I wanted to stop in and say hello to everyone. It has been a whole year since I have been here and in that time, God has blessed tremendously and I am learning so much that it is coming out of my ears.

You all were so nice to keep me here, despite the fact that I am not a photographer, so I come in periodically to tell you how things are going.
Many of you might know that I got my first book published this past June, or maybe you do not know it. My small "Jessie's House" is Christian Fiction and was here when I arrived from my first plane ride in June. I am dealing with a lot of firsts and it is fun being sixty two and learning so many new things.
Some of you might remember that I was out of a job, sick and unable to qualify for health insurance.
I took in daycare children, which was really hard because I missed my old job, working with special needs children. I was dealing with this neurological disorder that no one, even to now has been able to diagnose. No diagnosis meant no disability, so from 2002 to 2009 I  have been un-insured and making it on God's blessings and grace.

Many people have held us up financially and spiritually along the way as I completed raising my grandson, who by the way is now twenty. This young man loves the Lord, works hard and aspires to be a youth pastor. His father, my son...died in 2007, we went through a lot due to other people in our family and among our friends who passed on, but God remained with us, as always.

Anyway, on my sixty-second birthday on October 26, I taped a program on an Internet program called "The Author Speaks" and have spoken on Internet radio about my book. The book is the first of a trilogy of "Jessie" books that were conceived during a time in my life when my children and I were homeless. I am now working on "Jessie's Joy". Also the book, "Minnie's Gift" which is about my life, is due to be published next year.

I am getting speaking engagements, etc as a result and the book is in Alaska, New Mexico, Kansas, Mississippi, Georgia, Illinois, Tennesee and of course, here at home in Minnesota. Right now, it is available through me, due to the money that Amazon would charge me to add it to their site, but my publisher is working on that.

However, I am not here to talk about all of that without saying how very much I appreciate all of you here. I am able to work one day per week, write for our community newsletter, offer the children in our complex, "Storytime with Gramma Zee" and continue to do the little devotionals that I was doing way back when.
God is truly good! Oh! Forgot that although I do not get disability, my worker was able to determine that I can get widow's benefits.
I went from living off less than $200 per month, to much more!
My first hubby passed away and was a good worker all of his life.
I had no idea that I had anything coming.

I now have 13 grandchildren! They are all doing well.
Just got a clean bill of health from my doctor and finally able to get dental work done ( 4 extractions and my first ever fillings!)
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
I would love to hear from anyone who cares to reply!

In Christ

Zeebers, you don't need any special colors or fancy images.  Your testimony shines with the gold of your love for our Lord and the blessings you have received.  Thank you for sharing this with us.   :)

Zeebers, so good to see you post again as it has been a long time.  Certainly nice to see that things are working out better for you and your testimony is certainly a positive one in terms of keeping our trust in God.

Pat

Lovely to see you in here!

I've missed hearing from you and you mustn't be a stranger now.  We have many members in here who don't take photos but they enjoy the fellowship so please just keep in touch and drop by the "Thoughts for the Week" so that the folk in there will be able to say "Hi" to you too.

Hi Zeebers,
It's nice to meet you!  What an awesome testimony!  God is so awesome!  I am fairly new here, but am glad to hear that you are able to post here again.  I will pray for God's continued blessings and favor on you, and for continued financial blessing as well.  :)
In Prayer,

Zeebers, it's great to have you back, especially as we see our Lord's hand in it!  May He continue to bless you mightily.

Don

Hi Zeebers, nice to meet you. Well I didn't see any images in your post but I saw plenty of color in that testimony. God is good! Thanks for stopping by and sharing that with us. Hope you won't be gone as long before you post again.
