Please pray for me and my family. My husband and I have two boys, ages are 13 and 6. They are good boys.

I just want our family to be remembered - this world is a bad place. I want to raise my boys the way that God wants me to raise them. We, my boys and I, are involved in church. My boys love it.
They are in public school. They are exposed to many things - good and bad. I pray that God convict them when they do something wrong. I pray that God help me with each of them. My oldest one is a teenager - WOW!!! My baby is not a baby anymore. They are so different. Tyler, 13 years old, is starting to back talk and he has an attitude alot. They fight all the time. Sometimes it seems as if my house is always in an uproar.
We need some peace. Please pray that we are the parents that my boys need and for God to show me how and what to talk to my boys about. PLease pray also that God talk to my boy's hearts - to tell them and show them how they should act and treat others.

I will be praying.   I am in the same place ith my girls.  It seems to go with the territory of teens.  They are wanting their independence, but don't realize they are not yet ready for it.  BUT God does and will answer prayer.

HEre is a suggestion.  Get the books by KEvin Leman.  Try a church library.  The one I have in front of me is "Have a New Kid by Friday" It is an excellent book as are the others.

Father, I pray You'll give CMH and Judy Your grace and wisdom to raise the children You've given them.  Oh Father, each day start them out depending upon You, and, God, grant them to see Your gracious hand upon them for good through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Christa, I just wanted you to know that I had a time of prayer last evening and again just a few minutes ago for you and your family.  I hope all is settling down.

Our girls are grown, but well I remember those times.  They think they want their independence, yet in their yet growing minds they are afraid of it.
