Title: Need A Lot Of Prayer but Receive God's Grace each Day
Post by: Fotobirder on March 21, 2017, 08:56:50 PM
Louise and myself find ourselves tested more and more each day. My Daily Devotions really help. I know God is with me Every step and if I don't call on him, it's my fault. We are both about 70 years of age and have many physical problems. My big problem right now is Trigeminal Neuralga. It's damaged nerves on the side of the face that can cause A terrific amount of pain. I'm on A lot of medication for it. It causes dizziness and I've been falling A lot. We both have Dibetise. We can't do much exercise because of physical problems. Many more problems that I won't list. Our Medical bills last year was over $20,00.00. This is mostly due to Insulin that both of us use. Once you get in  the Donout Hole ( about June or July for us) The Insuling goes from $40.00 A Box to over $400.00 A Box. We need prayer that the new Medical Plan will change some of this. But A Lot of that is A little to late. We've used all our Savings and am now just living on our Social Security. Our House is way too large for us now an dpaid for. Please Pray that the estimate will be high and we can sell it and get some equity that we so desperately need. We also need A much smaller house that will fit in our Budget. Thanks for listening and I appeciate in advance all the prayers that I( know will come from the Prayer Warriors on this Web Site.

In Christ Name

Oh, Steve, I'm so sorry that you are suffering.  I can't even imagine that cost of medical bills.  I definitely will be praying for you as you both go through this.  I know prayer works as people have been praying for me since Nov. 1/15 (almost 17 months now) when I had my stroke and then March 15 last year when the present malady struck me.  They just don't seem to be able to put a name to it.

So, yes, please know that I'll be remembering you in prayer.

Pat... :)

Steve, I am so sorry to read about the pain and trouble you and Louise are suffering.  I know, and I'm sure you do too, God has a plan and someday you will look back and say "So that's what it was all about?"  Meanwhile, I am praying for you, asking for your relief, both from pain and financial worries.

Steve, things WILL work out just fine, a solution will come out of nowhere, or that is how it will seem but, we know it is coming from our God...
I am not an American, I am British, I live in UK so whether we are classed as lucky having an NHS ( National Health Service ) many will argue with that, ( it is not in a good state at the moment, ) I personally am not a lover but, we have paid into the NHS during our working lives and get to benefit from it with no worries of where to find the money, also our medical prescriptions are free once we reach OAP and receive our retirement pension.... Oh we can take out private Insurance policies if we like but, they too have their restrictions...and can be very expensive and more so at a later age, the premiums shoot up...But the downside with our NHS is the long waiting lists, the long waiting times on getting to be seen for testings, I HAVE been on that other end more than once, I was diagnosed two years ago with PP Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 64, my Birthday is today, I am 66...
Oh forgot to mention, some life prescribing drugs are based on what we call an unfair " postcode lottery.." which means, depending on where we live, we may or may not be able to receive some " NICE " approved drugs to keep us alive, basically it is all down to money, if the life benefiting drug is far too expensive....
Sometimes that is all we ask for is a listening ear...
