I posted this in the general area, but thought I'd put it here, as well.

I would like to ask you all to lift me up in prayer if you would.  I've been hesitant to bring this up, but I need all the prayer I can get.  (maybe I should put this in the prayer request section?)

Please pray for healing for me for my eyes.  I found out that I have a degenerative corneal disease that will most likely claim my sight, unless God chooses to heal me.  As a wife, mother/teacher, photographer, this is quite upsetting to me.  As fellow photographers, you can probably imagine my impulse is to take and process as many photos as I can before I go blind.  Not much call for blind photographers, I don't suppose.  At the same time, my family and church comes first.  I do get eye strain easily from the glare on the computer screen and can't stare at it for very long.  It's hard for me to read on the computer, which is why it'll be hard for me to read and catch up on the posts I missed while I was sick.  So, if I don't seem to know what's going on or that I don't care, that's not the case.  I do keep you all in my prayers, even if I'm not up on the specifics of each need.  God knows your needs.

Trusting in God's plan, as much as I possibly can,

Father, I pray for Kathleen.  I pray You'll fill her with the realization that You care even more than she does.  I pray You'll also move her to trust You completely and to know Your comfort and love.  Use this situation, Father, to make her more Your child than she's ever been, and make her see how she may best glorify You through Jesus our Lord.

Kathleen I echo Al's prayer and say Amen and Amen.... God will get all the glory from this situation as we trust Him to do all things well.   

Kathleen I am also praying and saying Amen to Pastor Al's prayer for you. God knows your need and loves you. May He be glorified.
