We have a brand new member, Bob Hall aka bhall07, who we've got to know on Photography Cafe in the last little while and I read on that site that he is having very serious back surgery tomorrow!

I know that we'll all rally around and remember to keep Bob in our prayers during the coming days.  Bob has told me that his wife will keep us posted as to how the surgery is going and how Bob is.

Bob, I will be praying for you and may you know that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician and you are in His wonderful hands!

Bob, first of all, let me welcome you to our little group of Christians here ... It is good that you have come here before your surgery so that we can gather 'round you and your wife and surround you with prayers. 

Our Father will hold you in His arms through this and keep you close to His heart as you heal and recover.

This poem seemed to stand out in my mind when thinking of Bob's surgery tomorrow...

On Photography Cafe today, the Photo of the Day was taken by Bob!  How lovely to see this photo on the Home Page of the site as Bob is undergoing his surgery on his back.

The surgery is about to start.  It was scheduled for 8:30 am Central time.

So, let's all earnestly pray for our dear brother as he undergoes this critical operation and let's enjoy his photo that he recently took:

I am still sore and tire very easy but, I know God has me on the way to total recovery.
I will post some photos when I get up to speed.

I have heard from Bob and sadly to say, his recovery is not as fast as he had thought it would be after this serious back surgery he had.  

I'm hoping that he'll be in here to update all of us and let us know how to pray for him as we ought.

So, folks, we need to continue to pray!

I hope I can get this said without sounding to dopey !
My pain meds keep me in a haze most of the time. Like Pat said,
my recovery is going very slow. I have recovered most of my strength
but the pain from the damaged nerve has really got me in a spin.
On the positive side God has used me to pray for others at my church
and given me more of a servant's attitude.
So you will know what to pray for..... My pain has been in the L5 nerve
path down the right leg.

Father I come before you to ask for Bob's healing, to take away his pain in his damaged nerve in his leg. That you will bless him and help him to know that whatever we ask -we shall believe and receive...You are our healer and our caretaker and we thank you for it in-Jesus Most Holy and righteous name...Amen

Still praying here Bob. I've had back problems and know about the pain.

Praying Bob.  God is able. 

Bob, I'm praying that you receive the Lord's strength, comfort and peace, and His healing touch if that be His will. 

Bob any update?  Or is all pretty well the same?

Yes, things are about the same. I was prayed for yesterday at church and have had a much better day today. My pastor's wife said we have the relief and now we need the release!
I stand by this confession.
I was healed 2000 years ago by the stripes on Jesus' back!
Satan I command you by the authority of Jesus' name to take your hands off my back!
Father thank you for the love in your healing touch!
In Jesus' name I am healed, whole and totally restored!

We are continuing to pray here in the north.

And in the not quite so far north.

Yep we are praying way out west on the left coast.

Thank you all for your continued prayer. I have begun to heal. Or, it is better to say my healing is starting to manifest. I still have a great deal of pain and loss of sleep but for the first time I have started in the last 2 weeks to show improvement!
