I read this about Max Alderman's son on Facebook. Here is what he has said 9 hours ago, that would have been about 10 pm Sunday the 15th.

Thank you so much for your response to our need...I have been driving all night and also Pastor Greg. We are a little more encouraged. Jamie responded to verbal commands being able to squeeze and hold two thumbs up. He has a breathing tube in place and don't know if he will be able to speak. Time will tell. We are so grateful to the Lord that we still have hope...God is able.
I have told Max that I am putting this on pur prayer page. He was out preaching proclaimnig the good news of the Word.

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST* Bro. Max Alderman's son, Jamie, is in critical condition tonight from an aneurysm and blood on the brain. He is in the hospital in Savannah, GA. Please lift this young man and his family up in your prayers. Also pray for Bro. Alderman as he was preaching in Virginia this week but is now trying to get home to his son.
Oh, Judy! Thanks so much for posting this. We must all pray for Max and for his son, Jamie.
Max is "MaxA" (http://www.christianphotographers.com/community/index.php?action=profile;u=1284) on our site. He's not posted very often but he reads a lot. He has trouble figuring out how to navigate our site.
Please pray for him and the family.
Thanks for clarifying that, Pat. I'll admit I was wondering who on earth Max Alderman is and didn't connect MaxA - not that it really makes any difference in matters of needed prayer.

I would rather respond to each of you individually to impress upon you how thankful I and my family are as you express your love and concern for us during our time of need. Many of you have been where we are and you comfort us as you have been comforted. The next several hours and hopefully days are critical to his recovery. God is able...

From Max:
Jamie has taken a turn for the worse and is in a deep comma...thanks for your prayers. Please don't stop. God is able... Jamie grew up in a preacher's home and had many struggles, but just a few years ago, he recognized that he needed Christ Jesus as his PERSONAL savior and repented and trusted HIM and many have communicated to me the change that they saw in Jamie. I too can truly say that during these last several years we have never been closer...
GOD BE WITH JAMIE, YOUR FAMILY AND THE PHYSICIANS INVOLVED.

Yes, I'm praying, too. May God be with Max and his family, and may His will be done.

Things do not look good at the moment For Jamie. There is continued swelling among other problems. The Alderman's are so thankful to all the prayers and ask that we continue petitioning God for a miraculous healing, wisdom to know what to do, and for more grace than they have ever needed before. Pray especially for Debbie as the reality of the situation is setting in, and for their precious children.
Thank you Pat. Here is a further update.

Your love and response has been so overwhelming that I could not begin to personally respond to all of you, though I want to... The last report seems to indicate that he is now incapable of breathing on his own, because the brain stem has died...if so, he may be dead down here , but he is more alive now then than he has ever been! God bless and thanks!
Oh, dear...
Sad news...

Pat we posted at the same time.
I pray that God will be glorified in all this and the family will know His presence as they travel through the coming days.
How VERY sad. I was a young widow with 4 children. May God strengthen and uplift every member of this family.
Just thought I'd share this with you all.
We've all been praying for Jamie and now he's with the Lord in Glory! Praise His Name!
Jamie is the one with the green striped shirt on in the photo and of course, our Max is in the centre front.
Yes, we've all been praying. And God always hears and answers. But He doesn't always answer "yes". Sometimes His answer is, "Not this time." And now prayers must be for peace and comfort and strength for Max and all the family.
Thank you, Pat, for posting that photo. What a wonderful faimily Max has.
The reason? That GOD MAY BE GLORIFIED!

"I love taking pictures...I wish that I could take a picture right now of what Jamie is seeing and experiencing. I also wish that I could personally thank all of you on our behalf. By your love and support being expressed in such a good overwhelming way, I may not be able to. But I love you for loving us. God bless!"

Services will be in this manner: Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with visitation from four until eight pm. Funeral at Bible Baptist at 11am on Friday. Those officiating will be: Max Alderman; Jon Edmisten and by video testimony, Jamey Alderman. Thanks again, for your prayers and concern....
May God's name be lifted up during this time of sadness and grief. I will pray that our Father will gather all His Alderman children to his breast and comfort them and give them peace.
We'll lock this topic and post a link in here to a new topic in the Sympathy Board for Max and Rhonda Alderman and family.
Please post in there your thoughts to the family.
