Hi everyone. I have some very positive news re my practicum placement.
I will spend the next two placement days shadowing a new trainer. Not that I haven't learned anything from the one I've been shadowing, but I need to move on to a situation where I will learn more skills. I have been hoping and praying for a change, and believe that this will be good for me. I will have more opportunities to use mechanical lifts, for example, and maybe have a better match with this person too.
Thank you to all who have prayed for this situation.
Your appreciative sister in Christ,
Bonnie
So glad to hear of this news Bonnie. I will continue to pray that this works out as you are hoping!
That sounds encouraging, Bonnie. Prayers continue
Thank you Judy. Thank you Jeanne. I had a much better day today; learned how to use two of the mechanical lifts, and was given more opportunities to show initiative.
All in all, it was a great day.
God gets all the praise.
Bonnie
:cheer: :woohoo:
Good for you Bonnie! Prayer continues.
I, too, am thankful you were allowed this change. Prayer helps!
Thank you Ruth Ann. So true; prayer does help, as does asking others to send them up for us.
When I first accepted Christ, I had the mistaken idea that I was being selfish if I prayed for my own concerns instead of for those around me. I've come along way in realizing there is humility in asking Him for help, rather than selfishness.
And, for me, being humble is sometimes difficult. I'm not a proud person, but it's hard for me to pray specifically for myself, too.
Thanks for the reminder.
Ruth Ann
You are very welcome, my dear sister in Christ.
:bible:
I can say I knew Bonnie when........ and yes she has come a long way in 25+ years. Yes our Father wants us to humbly present our needs. Love you Bonnie and Ruthann.
Bonnie, my continued prayers for your career progress. ;)
Thank you Jeanne.
And thank you Judy for the "I knew Bonnie when" comment. Glad we became acquainted way back then, and so glad we are still friends.
Now, Bonnie, "stroll" on into our forum! We're so glad you're here. :)
