Title: Finally

While we were hiking, we were in a group of six girls. On the second of our five days, we got a lot of rain, but none of us put on our rain gear so all our clothes got soaked. The next day was our longest hike and it snowed for most of the day. It was brutally cold that day and we ended up with over twenty people in our small shelter for the night. The following morning, our hiking boots were frozen solid (literally). It was the afternoon of our second last day on the trail when we finally came across this view. The weather had cleared up at last and we were able to see everything from our mountainous vantage. While we hiked that day, one of the thru hikers (people taking six or more months to hike the entire trail) came upon us with this reaction, "Someone slap me! I never thought I'd see this on the AT!" He didn't mean any of the stunning vistas or gorgeous points of interest. He meant six girls hiking together.
