We just got done eating dinner and having smores for desert with the new indoor smores grill we got for Mike.  MMMmmm....those were good.

Now we are going to sit, relax and watch a movie.

Judy and I would like to pass on a Merry Christmas to all on CP and hope everyone has had a wonderful and blessed day with family and freinds. Our day has been much better than we have experienced for some years and are thankful to our Saviour that was born on this day for this blessing. I arrived home yesterday from Tennessee and was greeted by a house full of Grandchildren and phone calls from our adult children all expressing their pleasure with my being home in time for Christmas. As if there ever was any doubt. I was determined to be home if I had needed to drag the truck home like a sled.
Pat in answer to your message on Dec20 yes I do get down to a little place 30 miles from Danville Va on a regular basis, Its one of my regular deliveries. I also read the replies from the rest of you and will get back to interacting on the system more freguently in the new year. I fortunately will be home now until Dec 30 before I have to leave on another trip. That will have me away over New Years but that is okay as we really don't get involved in the festivities of that day anyway. It would be nice to take Judy with me then but I don't think that will be possible, however the Company I work for has asked my son to accompany me with a second load on that trip so Father and Son will have a few days of running the highway and remembering old times and fellowship together as we will be travelling to Tennessee and back with 2 trucks. Talk to you all soon and once again a Merry Christmas to all.

Sonja, those verses, I Pet. 1 Pet. 1:8-12 have helped me through the years to realize that long before Jesus came the prophets set forth a message concerning him which was not understood, but NOW we can understand it.  It IS wonderful that the grace of God has come to US TODAY!

Etta Sue, yes I thought I was rather clever with that graphic.  It is amazing what you can learn to do here.  

Ria, over here the day after Christmas is a great shopping day.  The stores are open and people will be out looking for bargains of marked down goods.  Many Christmas type things will be marked down to half price.

Well, we have had such a nice day.  All three of our daughters were here and the two sons-in-law.  Also two granddaughters with their husbands.  And our two grandsons.  We also had three other guests.  All are gone now except Cornelia, Martha, and me.

Hello everyone, I am just now home for all the festivities. After leaving Sarah's parents house I stopped at Bea's and took her a plate of food and sat and watched Ice Skating with her before coming on home. Now I am checking inheree to let y-all I made it home safely and pray that you have too,.

I will unload the camera tomorrow and post a few pics.

We are just home again from the kids' house, where we spent a nice day.  Most of Jeff's family were there, so Diane and I had lots of cooking to do to get the big turkey dinner all done.  The other ladies brought things too, and we enjoyed visiting with everyone.

It's good to hear that all of you have enjoyed happy times with family and friends.  And I pray for our service people overseas, that they felt the closeness of the Lord today on His birthday.
