Well the wind picked up a good bit., in fact it picked up a lot. I called for a water delivery so I am waiting for the water truck to arrive sometime today and can't go anyplace. I managed to get the dramamine down the dog, and now I am trying to keep him in the house on his leash, so I can get him in the car in a few minutes. I'll let y-all know how that turned out later.

Hi Everyone...

Paulette's good husband and daughter Allison just left after helping with taps and washers and ceiling vents in both bathrooms!  What a wonderful man he is!  I just thank the Lord for this family!

Now, I'm going to wash my hair quickly (now that I have water!!) and then get ready to go to the concert to hear Mercychild sing at the University of Guelph tonight!

So, have a wonderful evening and hopefully any new people will feel welcome here.

Hey all you CPers out there.  Glad to see you all posting.  

I had a busy morning.  The girls had an easter egg hunt to go to and that was fun watching Chandraya run around trying to find all the candy and eggs.  Lila Mae picked up one egg and decided she was done.  hahaa...she was funny to watch.  We went to another egg hunt in the afternoon and she was putting eggs and candy in other kids baskets.  She was a joy to watch.  Chandraya had to be careful with what she picked since she is allergic to chocolate.  But they got plenty and had fun.  
I will post some pictures sometime today of them.

The weather is 78 degrees and is beautiful. My husband is washing is car and I think I will finish up with my pictures and play some hacky.

Anthony~It is good to have you back.  I sure missed ya.  Now where is that picture of yours?

I don't think Marilyn is a newbie anymore.  She has posted over 100 posts already!  And I thought I was the talkative one!!  

Keep it up, Marilyn!  I am off to the recipes!

Well after dosing the dog a 2nd time, he calmed down but I still couldn't get him in the car. I could have forced him in but I didn't want to dothat to my doggy. I think he would have panicked if I did that.

Papa John ~ Thank you, I haven't always been as upbeat and positive as I am now. When Bev died in 2000, I decided I was never going to start a day being down or depressed. I found that if I start the day with a Cheerful happy hello to my Lord Jesus Christ first, then I won't have a care the rest of the day! It has been fun going through the day with a smile on my face (Makes people wonder what I've been up to) and going to bed happy at night!

A very good evening to all my brothers and sisters in Christ. I hope your day was great and you were able to enjoy your time with our Lord. I hope your night will be super and your sleep blissful and your dreams pleasant!

I am going to put the new lights on Etta Sue's Craftsman tractor(or maybe her broom) so she won't get run over when she decides to ride it to town! (Jerry chuckles as he ducks to keep from getting hit with the keyboard)

Hi everyone.  This hasn't turned out to be my best day as seem to have come down with the flu.  I was feeling fine this morning but by the time I got to the church for our special choir practice I wasn't feeling very good and decided I had better get home.  I have all the classic flu symptoms but am feeling better this evening and decided to check in here quickly.  I am pretty sure that I won't be going to church tomorrow to sing the special Easter music.  I don't like to miss.

Larry: Drink lots of hot lemon juice and honey. I have been told to boil a whole unpeeled grapefruit , lemon and orange for an hour or until they are mushy, then mix in the honey and drink it no matter how bad it tastes. Haven't tried it though but it is said toreally knock out the flu with all the vitamins in the concoction.

Jerry, you have a good philosophy of life.  A positive outlook is good for ones physical and spiritual health.

Marilyn, just pick up the dog, put him in the car, and take off with him.  It won't hurt him.  Before long he will stick his head out the window and love to ride the car.

Marilyn, I guess that concoction would make you better.  I imagine it would  knock just about anything out of you.

Today was an awesome day.  Bernard adn I went mountain biking (Travis stayed with teh grandparents) and I got some cool  pics i will try to post in a minute maybe.  My legs are mush as this was the second time in about three years I had ridden (the first was last Sat. in my driveway for about 3 minutes).
