Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Etta Sue:When I was still living down south there was a man that I took care of that had problems with his esophagus and had to have it stretched. There was also a lady I knew there that had to have hers stretched. After the stretcheing there was no more problems.

I am sorry to hear that you har having problems with your liver. I have been trying to be so careful, what prescription drugs I take, because I do not want damage to my liver.

Larry I know the devastation that drugs or even alcohol can do to a family. Back in the day when I was on drugs I lost a few "friends" to drug overdoses. It is so painful for the family, sepecially when they lose a youg one. Many families blame themselves when it is in no way the fault of the parents. Drug users make the choice to use drugs, no one is responsible except the user himself.

JaAnet and Larry, I have two dogs sleeping with me.

Hi Everyone....I had a good night last night at EE.   This was the last night until the fall.   My level 2 class had to write a test and run through the presentation to see if they remember it from last semester.   They all did very well.  I believe everyone is all fired up to go out and recruit others to come into EE in September 2004.

There is a summer EE but it is a little different.  There is no training, just going out into the highways and byways and talking to people about the Great Commission.

Besides all that, Peoples Church are having their missionary conference.   It is the most important time of the church year at Peoples.   Because The Peoples Church is a missionary minded church, we are all very excited to hear the reports from people all over the world.  Many people respond "Here am I Lord, send me"

Sonja you are doing a good job while Pat is off the computer.

Soni:  Great inspirational this morning, it is so wonderful that you are able to fill in for Pat.

Larry: Such a terrible thing to happen but as you well know all we can do is be there in thought and prayer.

Again we had rain to-day, our lawns and trees are now showing the fresh green colors. A true sign of spring and summer.

Welcome to all of the new members.

Etta Sue,

I have that problem when I'm stressed. We live in the south, and during the forced bussing sit-ins, etc., I had to finally visit the doctor. He prescribed a tiny reddish pill to take 30 minutes before eating. He said it would relax the esophagus enough that food would take its usual course.

It did, and I've never had to ask for the medication again.

Sorry about your liver functions test. We'll be praying for good results.

Also, about sleeplessness - I think stress and many other factors enter in to that equation.

Speaking of sleeplessness, I was taking up some clothes for my son who has lost 193 lbs, so was awake until about the time I normally turn over the first time (wry grin) - ummmmm, 3 a.m.

So, I'm kinda tired tonight.

Y'all have a good evening.

Ruth Ann

I am going to lock the door.

Thanks everyone for the compliments on the devotion.

I realize how hard Pat works on this site.  The NEM is fun but takes time to perfect.

Hope to see you all tomorrow.
