I don't mean to "stop and start" here..... BUT... How amny of you have noticed that our Patzy has passed the 10,000 post mark?? !!!

A happy greeting coming to all of you wonderful people,

    This is  quick update,, I have been up today with very little pain and have been able to work somewhat with out feeling like I was walking hunched over..Thank God Miss Cheryl is only about 140 pounds..I don't know how I would lift her if she was any bigger..
   
    This is  another  quick update... I have past charter four today in my princeables class with a 100%.. I am pleased with this as I have really been trying to remember all this information, the wonderful thing is I can do it here on the computer..Please continue to pray for me as I try this new adventure in my life..

    Papa John,  You take care of yourself.. we can't do much with out our backs.. Can we??

SONJA, you have to count me out on ironing.  I don’t know how and I think I am too old to learn.

ALMA, you are absolutely right.  Sometimes there isn’t much to be done with a bad back.  Sometimes it gets very bad and sometimes it lets up a little.  But it never goes away.  Yet, we have something to look forward to:

HOW MANY POSTS FROM PAT??

My goodness, lady, you're somethin' else, as we say here in the South.

Alma, would you be able to get a lift for her? The guy working in the next cubicle has parents who are both disabled. He mentioned their backs are about to wear out (each child takes a vacation day or sick day once a week to give them 24 hour nursing care at their home). So, I mentioned the lift. He checked on it, and the next week he was all smiles at how much help the lift had already been for them.

Judy, thanks for mentioning the bath lift. That would be marvelous. It's been so many years since I could take a tub bath.

Well, I worked until 8 pm and have to be back at work at 5:30 am, so need to close. I did want to tell you that my lunch hour was such a blessing today. We have an outdoor patio built over top of a part of our building, and the weather was great. I sat out there and after I finished eating, I spent the rest of the time in prayer. In fact, I was concentrating so hard that someone tapped me on my shoulder to see if I was in "some sort of trance or something - you haven't moved for half an hour!" I explained that solitary prayer time is precious and how much I appreciate the opportunity to commune with God. The response was that this person arises 45 minutes early to first have devotions and then to exercise before taking on daily tasks.

good evening
i am here... tired but here... school is consuming most my day then i go out and shoot at night so that i can prepare for basketball....it's great fun.....right now school is easy just time consuming....anyways... Janet i can send beth something i could prolly go see her too... (maybe?!) but ya'll live in the middle of nowhere and i doubt i could find ya'lls house.....i was thinking about going up to hugoton to stay that weekend so who knows.....anyways i must get off to bed so that i can get to sleep and get up in the morning for school ttyl

Time to lock the door.  I have to get up very early tomorrow to take Norm McKenna to Hamilton to the hospital for a procedure.
