Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Janet, Maybe that person is kinda like my mom.  Things just kinda pop out of her mouth before the brain engages.  (Okay, I confess, I'm the same way).  It had to be an accident.  I can't imagine anyone purposely doing that.

I, too, am just popping in briefly.  It is time to try and get the tas to bed.  Right now he is singing the chorus from "He Reigns" at the top of his voice and playing guitar.  he also preaches, too.   That is funny.

Have a good night, and tomorrow is Friday.  woohoo!!

{{{{{hug}}}}} mieka!!  :)

Hello Everyone!  Looks like I will be the late girl for a while. I am doing daycare in someone elses home for a time as our apartment is too small for these rambunctious critters whom I care for. This has been a busy week in every way one can imagine. I want to thank all of you who sent such nice compliments on my picture. I feel so welcome here.

Its getting chilly in Minny-soda but not many are deterred from the Big Get-Together, otherwise known as the State Fair. Ive not been as long as I have been here, but I
do like getting out to the Farmers Markets for fresh everything!  This year the farmers had especially wonderful to-mah-toes and snappier snap beans than we have seen in a long
while.

We have had some sad news this week...a teen trying to be a good Samaritan to help
a lady change her tire was pinned under a car when someone who did not see them
slammed into the vehicle. The woman survived but the 17 year old named Cody, died
of his injuries. Please pray for all involved.

Just an FYI....I work at least 11 hours per day....and rise at about 5:30 AM...because I need
that extra time with God before beginning my day. I will try and stop through here to say hello and perhaps share a scripture or an encouraging word or maybe ask for prayer from
yawl.  My spirit tells me this is a great place to be and I want to share with all of you but some days I am just so tired and so beat....dealing with my little guys who will be in school on next Thursday, interacting with my grandson, finishing the book, the weekly devotionals
and other prayer groups, that I may seem absent but Im not. Absent minded...well...thats another thing altogether....:P

Tommorow is a special time for Mike and myself as we "Camp" out in the living room, eat
popcorn and other junk and watch movies. Its about the only free time we have.
Saturdays and Sundays speak for themselves. Laundry, groceries, church.....it never ends.
I walk and excercise minimally. Actually, my excercise regime consists of drinking lots of water, walking a lot, as we have no car and doing my hand weights ( five pounders and not every morning!)  I dont do a lot of sweets, in fact, never have and God just keeps on blessing me
with the knowledge that I cannot eat like a teen....

All for now
In Christ, Zee :-)

Hi from the island.  This has been a busy day.  I had to go to Victoria and have my glasses repaired as the part was in from Montreal.  The temple part came apart!!  Costly repair... :'(

Wendy had to see her specialist, so Amanda and I got to spend some time together at the mall.  This is something we rarely do and plan to visit Victoria in a few days to view the Eqypt Exibit at the Museum.  It is well worth the trip and hope the crowds thin out a bit by that time.  Tourists everywhere!

The bunnies had to be brought into the house and one had to be given a bath, due to some problem or other.  I was ill with my virus and missed the action.  She had to be blow dried and they all had to get Pepto Bismal in their water bottle.  Gad!  Doing fine now.  Who would have thought.....No, they are all outside in very nice rabbit hutches.  Could be Etta Sue should build a hutch for her pesky critter instead of trying to trap it ;D?

A friend sent this to me.  Found it very interesting, tho not knowing the Koran, can't attest to the truth of anything.  Possibly Pastor Al or Papa John will know??

IRAQ - VERY INTERESTING - DID YOU KNOW?
1. The garden of Eden was in Iraq.
2. Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq, was the cradle of civilization!
3. Noah built the ark in Iraq.
4. The Tower of Babel was in Iraq.
5. Abraham was from Ur, which is in Southern Iraq!
6. Isaac's wife Rebekah is from Nahor, which is in Iraq.
7. Jacob met Rachel in Iraq.
8. Jonah preached in Nineveh - which is in Iraq.
9. Assyria, which is in Iraq, conquered the ten tribes of Israel.
10. Amos cried out in Iraq!
11. Babylon, which is in Iraq, destroyed Jerusalem.
12. Daniel was in the lion's den in Iraq!
13. The three Hebrew children were in the fire in Iraq (Jesus had been
in Iraq also as the fourth person in the fiery furnace!)
14. Belshazzar, the King of Babylon saw the "writing on the wall" in Iraq.
15. Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, carried the Jews captive into Iraq.
16. Ezekiel preached in Iraq.
17. The wise men were from Iraq.
18. Peter preached in Iraq.
19. The "Empire of Man" described in Revelation is called Babylon, which   was a city in Iraq!

And you have probably seen this one. Israel is the nation most often
mentioned in the Bible. But do you know which nation is second? It is
Iraq! However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible. The names used in the Bible are Babylon, Land of Shinar, and Mesopotamia. The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers  The name Iraq, means country with deep roots.

Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country
in the Bible. No other nation, except Israel, has more history and prophecy associated with it than Iraq.

And also... This is something to think about! Since America is typically
represented by an eagle. Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages...
The following verse is from the Koran, (the Islamic Bible) Koran (9:11) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.

(Note the verse number!) Hmmmmmmm?!

Well, I found it interesting.

The talk about sin and forgiveness the other day caught my attention.  Thought that Daily Bread made a sensible statement about that subject:

God's grace is not license to live as we please...it's liberty to please God.

Seem's like many Christian's keep asking to be forgiven for what they know to be sin, then turn around and repeat and repeat and repeat....Have always believed that we were supposed to change the pattern somewhere along the way.

Pleasant dreams and God Bless.

Liz

What interesting messages to read from you, Liz and you Zee!

Now, I'm really tired tonight.  I was hoping to be in bed long before now but with one thing and another, I'm still up.

Now it's time to lock this door and give you the link for tomorrow's topic...
