Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Jeanne Lee

It sure takes a lot of time to catch up when you miss just one day on here.  :-\

For the last week it's been hectic around here.  Of course, putting in two full days at work when I had expected not to go in at all kind of disrupted things.  And it had to be a week when we need to get over to church to clean and polish the candle holders, and my mother's package had to be mailed, and the library books are due, and we're invited to a "cookie-swap" Christmas party (I haven't made cookies in years.  :()...  and I discovered last night that there's a mouse in my pantry/cupboard so that has to be emptied all out to find where he's getting in and get rid of anything that's been contaminated.

And to top it all off, the nursing home administrator called to say my mother has lost both of her hearing aids and now at least one needs to be replaced - for $1750!!!.

Sure is a time of testing!  ;D

Suzanne what a lovely story.  I too have tears in my eyes!

How not nice at this time of the year to receive that phone call Jeanne Lee.  Icing on the cake if you will, just not a real sweet one  :(

I have finally got my cards all finished, and the letters to go inside a few of them written.  I still do those letters the old fashioned way with pen and ink.  I enjoy the computer generated ones, but they just don't seem to be quite as personal.  They will be in the post tomorrow.

I also got all the gifts I have in the house wrapped and tagged and list made up so that I can go out either after work tomorrow or first thing Saturday morning to get the rest finished.  Then all I will have left to finish up is some baking.

I haven't done much tonight but I do feel tired, so off to bed I think.  Good night everyone

ps....Lee, you'll be in my prayers also.

I got my PSP 8 today. I will try it out before too long. Have to read the book at some point in time. Not much new with me tonight, Guess I will call it a night. I was going towrap a few presents but when I do I can't put them under my little tree no room and beside that Bebe is a shredder. every now and then she decides to shred something when I'm not home. I don't know how she will act while I am in the Hospital for 4-5 days.

Good Night

Hello everyone!

We've been shopping in Pigeon Forge today.

Karma isn't ignoring everyone.  She's really sick.  She diagnosed herself with the flu.  It ain't pretty, I'm telling you.  Travis has had stomach trouble all day.  Please pray that they'll get better quickly!

My grandpa (93 years old) is back in the hospital.  Touch of pneumonia, swollen prostate, fever, dehydrated, has eaten only 15 small bites in about 3 days...  While he's obviously on his way to be with Jesus, I would appreciate your prayers for him, too.

G'night!
I survived open heart surgery.... :)

You got it, Nards.  Prayers are being sent that way!

Marilyn~There's a book that goes with PSP8?  ;) ;D

I haven't read mine yet, and probably never will.

Ruthie

Nards.... Praying for Karma that she will get over the flu and praying for Grampa that he will sense the Peace of God.

I remember talking to my own precious father when he was dying at 88 years old and I said "Dad, isn't it good to know the Lord" and he said "You better believe it!"  Even though he had terrible physical troubles, he still felt that Jesus was everything to him.

One thing I did was buy a tape recorder with continual play on it and I taped beautiful Christian music that was continuously playing to soothe him.

God Bless

Love Ruthie ;)

Nards, praying for you and the whole family.  Seems you've really been hit.  I'm so sorry that Karma isn't well and wee Travis.

I'll especially be praying for Grandpa.

Hi Ruthie!

I hope that Liz is doing alright.  This has to be a very sad time for her too saying farewell to Al.  Liz, if you look in, please let us know how things are doing.
