I have been wrapping the G-kids gifts, I can't put them under my little tree as it is on the small dining room table.

I put a gift on the cedar chest near the tree yesterday and then went to Gilbert's house.

When I came home Bebe had opened the gift and shredded the paper all over the floor. Just like the commercial I have seen on TV. Where the dog shreds all the gifts.

Hi all.  I'm just checking in.  I've felt pretty quiet the last few days.. my shoulder is better now, but still doesn't like it if I start typing a lot.  I guess that's a clue?

 I brought down a little tree I found in the attic upstairs.  I think it might have been my son's at one time, but I'm claiming it now.  Much easier to decorate than my big one.  Also brought down some decorations to put around the living room.   I ran out of energy before I decorated the tree, but I have some time yet.

  It HAS been pretty quiet in here today.  Not many posts, but that's ok.  We go through quiet times and understand when we each do.  

   Gotta go now and see if I can find new pictures in the "my town" pages.  Seems I read that there might be more.

    Rain here too, Marilyn!  I love the rain..

Thanks for checking in, Nita.  I'm really missing the folks who usually post.  I hope that we don't have a situation of flu or something going around.

Jenny - I will be praying for your daughter.  This sounds very serious.... I pray it isn't.

Jeanne:  Karma took the words out of my mouth.  Whe I read Gene's car swerving incident., I got the "chills"., and goosebumps all over my arms.  Isn't God an awesome God to protect Gene and the other driver like that?

I wonder what the Sheriff thought when he heard those two me praising God for their safety.

Marilyn:  Did Bebe do any damage to the Christmas gift., or was it just the paper he shredded.  Our dog Rags love to tear up a kleenex.  I don't know what it is about a kleenex that attracts him.  The other day he found a box of kleenex on my night table shelf near the floor.  When I called him, he didn't respond at all. ..not until I said "Who in this house wants a TREAT!.  well, that did it., he came running from the bedroom as I said the majic word...treat.

They are just like a little kid arn't they. When I confronted him about the kleenex all over the bedroom carpet, he had his head down, and his tail between his legs.....so funny to watch.

Pat - I just love that piece: "The Love of God"... my dad used to sing it., and we had a soloist sing it at his memorial service.

Thanks for posting it.... it brought back special memories for me.
