JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Hi everyone.  I have about 5 minutes before I have to leave for the church to attend choir practice.  It has been a very busy day and I haven't been home all day.  I got in the car to go to coffee this morning and backed out just a couple of feet and realized something wasn't right.  The car had a flat tire with a big roofing nail in it.  So I got in the old car and went to coffee.  Came back and called my auto club to come and take off the tire and put on the spare as I can't lift the tire.  I then went to the tire place but when I got there they said to leave the tire but they probably couldn't get to it until late in the afternoon.  As I had to teach the computer class this afternoon I went on to eat a bite of lunch and then to the library to spend about 90 minutes as didn't want to put many miles on the donut tire.  After the class I came back and stopped at Aldi's for some groceries and then to the tire store.  Then had to go by the bank and Kroger's for another couple of items I couldn't get at Aldi's.  Needless to say I am tired but have this one more commitment.

I think Etta Sue highlighted all that I wanted to say up to that point regarding Jane'ts valentine gift, Etta Sue's trip, Tbears new family member, Matt's son's birthday, Sonja's new equipment and the great news concerning the children and  Ruthie's announcement .  I know I have left out a lot but must ask your indulgence tonight as doubt I will get back here tonight.  I have read all of the postings.  Time to go.

Janet

Levi is a georgeous baby!!  Happy birthday, little one!

Larry, such a busy day for you.  Don't you hate it that the car companies try to save a few bucks by putting in those worthless donut tires?  Grrrr.

I want to watch International Intelligence Briefing and order some art supplies online, so I'd better get with it!

Been a little while since I posted in the Everyday topic.

I've been busy with the new semester, getting ready for Honduras (only 45 days left!!!) and other miscelleaneous things.

I'm taking Philosophy and Argumentation at my school. We watched a video on the Stigmata. We're debating it in class tomorrow. I'm curious, what do some of you think about the Stigmata?

Pat

Hi Ryan...

Great to see you here.  I have no ideas on the Stigmata!  In fact, I'm completely unaware of this topic.

Hope we get to see lots of photos of Honduras when you get home.  How long will you be there again?

God bless you,

Pat

I was certainly surprised this evening when I came to CP and saw your name as a new member, after checking your profile I see it is the one and only Caro from the UK that sends me such nice emails. Thanks for your prayers Sister.

Hi everyone, I see I failed to check in today other than my short statement to Pat. So Good morning, Good afternoon and Good evening. There does that merit your forgiveness.  ;)

Got the car smogged today and come to find out the smog tech is also my weekend Mechanic. I knew he worked at The car lot where I took the car but I didn't know he was the smog tech and diagnostician . That poor man is a workoholic, and it is a good thing he isn't married as I was telling Al, just a couple of days ago.

I have also registered at the Photography Cafe, now to upload a few pics there.

Going to Bible Study in a little bit. will see  ;) you all tomorrow.

Goodness - lots of posts to read., and that is GOOD!  I had to skip 3 pages., just to put a note in here.  I'm typing, and watching the Westminster Dog show at the same time!  I phoned Pat to have her watch the "Hoarding" dogs, as Geordie is one of those. Borders are so beautiful, and I had to laugh when the announcer said....good for families...not good for apartment dwellers!  I guess NOT!!   NOW...HERE IS ONE FOR THE BOOKS.....READ ON.....

Well, you will think I have really "lost it", now for sure.  We went to visit some friends today that we hadn't seen for awhile.  Arrangments were made for us to come for lunch!.  Great huh?  Well, the date was for TOMORROW...Feb.17th., and we showed up TODAY, the 16th.

Was my face red, or what!  Fortunately for us... I was able to politely insist we order in pizza., and thats what we did.  Now, tomorrow is free.

Now, I will go back and read some posts that I missed, and see what all you have been doing.

Ryan, are you going to Roatan again, or to mainland Honduras?  The only experience I have with the Stigmata is that I attended a meeting where the lady who was speaking, would sometimes have oil flow from the palms of her hands.  It did happen that night, and several people were healed when she touched them.  I was very close to her and actually SAW the oil coming out of her hands!  If I had not seen it with my own eyes, I might not have believed it.  She kept using tissues to blot it, so it wouldn't drip everywhere, and she soaked up several tissues with the oil.  I will never forget it!  I would sure be interested in what you have to say about the Stigmata, as I'm sure there are various manifestations of it.

Judy, bet you looked like this-- :-[.  Well, shucks, now we know you aren't perfect!  What a letdown.  ;)  Glad your friends were understanding about your mistake.

Hi, Marilyn.  Glad you got your car "smogged."  I would rather get mine UN-smogged.  hehehe.

Hi, Pat.  I'm going to bed early and read a while.  How about you, dear lady?

Darrel disappeared after supper, and I was wondering where he went.  Later, he came downstairs with a bunch of papers in his hands, handed them to me and said "Here's my will."  Now he is wanting me to get mine prepared, too, before we go on another trip.  Nothing like a death in the family to get you thinking about these things.......

See you all tomorrow!

Ruthie

Hi Everyone, thank you for your lovely comments.

Right now my eye is aching a little.  I had to have intervenes in my hand and they monitored my blood pressure.  They put drops in my eye all the time while the operation went on.  The surgeon cut out my lens from my eyeball and put in a new artificial lens.  Then he put a stitch or two in my eyeball.  The procedure took about 1 hour.   I was told to "not bend over" but when I came home and saw my cat I "bend over"  to stroke him.  Then I was very worried.  I phoned the surgeon and he said not to worry the pain and irritation in my eye is normal.  Right now I'm typing with my right eye closed.

I want to thank you all for your well wishes for Brian and I.  When he comes to my place I will let him read all your posts.

I'm going to lie down now.   God Bless

Love Ruthie
