Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Beth, it's great to see you posting.  I hope that we get to see a photo of those roses.  Glad to hear of John's mother too.  Please give him my best greetings and tell him I'm praying for his mother.

Love you,

Pat

Ryan...   Thanks so very, very much for your post.  I've learned from it and from what you say, I'd agree with you.  I'm going to do some searching on this as well.

Thanks again.

Ryan, good discourse on the Stigmata.  I don't know much at all about it, as the only time I ever heard or saw it was the time I told you about.  That lady definitely gave all the glory to God.  She also was NOT a Catholic.  I do realize that Catholics sometimes believe in things others do not; such a weeping paintings or bleeding statues.  Thanks for giving us a glimpse into what you are debating in school.

I am not familiar with the island of Helene, and the link you gave didn't show a map.  I'm puzzled, because I have seen several maps of that area and sure don't remember that island.  I will have to check it out.

I am reading a good book, besides The Good Book---so I think I will go to bed and continue reading for a while.  Good night, all!

Pat:

You're welcome. It's a pretty interesting topic. Yet it is very strange. Some of the images that were shown in the documentary are startling.

Janet:

I found it interesting that many of the stigmatists were Catholic. The stigmata has appeared in some Protestants and in other religions. The stigmata in other religions such as Islam, Buddhism etc. is obviously of the Devil.

It is good to hear that the lady you are taliking about recognized her gift from God and gave glory to him. That being said, I don't know the heart of Padre Pio and where he was with the Lord. I don't know if he did accept Jesus into his heart. So, it could be said that he did lead a life that was honoring to God. One of the Catholics brought up the fact that just because there is a cult surrounding the man doesn't necessarily tell anything about the man's walk with Christ and where he was. But, I believe that if the Stigmata was truly from God, that Padre Pio would have done everything that was humanly possible to prevent the cult that surrounded him. As I said, it is good to hear the woman gave glory to God. I believe that gifts are to be given back to God in a way that is honoring to him.

I hope I make sense. I'm no theologian and I'm no spiritual authority but this is what I believe in my heart.

Hi, friends,

It took a while for me to get here today. The question of stigmata has always interested me. I find your discussion very interesting - and I like the fact that you tried to present a "ramifications" viewpoint.

In the end, I'm thankful to be a believer in the Almighty God, our Messiah, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. I first confessed my sins as a 5 year old, and am so very thankful that almost 60 years later, that conversion still holds today.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading all the posts. If I say much, I'll leave someone out, and no harmful intent is intended.

It's just that tonight I'm very tired and need to find my resting place shortly.

May God richly bless and send His Holy Spirit to guide and comfort all who come here.

Ruth Ann
