Thanks for the devotional, Pat.  Sorry you are feeling ill.  It must be catching, 'cause I also have some sort of virus.  All the cold weather is bringing back the winter ailments.  We are still shivering here on the island and ice on the water every morning.....

Janet, I hope that Beth will try to make some sort of decision to help take care of the problem.  Understand how worried you are and will continue to pray.  I watch Wendy get more depressed each day and I seem to be without any power to make thing better.  Thank goodness she has a great husband and I can only trust that will never change.  Someone to stay and help care for Beth sounds like a wise plan.  Possibly a Christian lady who needs a home and a small monthly salary.....I will pray for you also....you sound so tired.

I am going to go and sit with Misty and watch the Olympics.  Not a good day for curling, Canadian Men & Women lost...   But, there is always tomorrow!!

The Army of the Lord

A friend was in front of me coming out of church one day, and the preacher was standing at the door as he always is to shake hands. He grabbed my friend by the hand and pulled him aside. 
       
      The Pastor said to him, "You need to join the Army of the Lord!" 
       
      My friend replied, "I'm already in the Army of the Lord, Pastor." Pastor questioned, "How come I don't see you except at Christmas and Easter?" 
       
      He whispered back, "I'm in the secret service."
