Larry, sounds like a full day at church.  I am going now at 5:30 to start a class from a Messianic Jewish man.  Very interested.   There are 8 different electives one can take at 5:30 - 6:30 and then go into the evening service.   I won't be home until around 8:30 p.m.

Chris I try to keep it light for the most part. Although I have had some pretty blue days. The prayers of my family here are what keep me going.

Well, I have just read all the posts since last night.  It is good to be able to visit CP and to get to know each one of you.  I'm sorry I sometimes don't feel like making the contributions that I should.

Pat. I hope CP will continue because I enjoy the fellowship.  It is nice to be able to make friends of Christian people in various parts of this world.  However I know it is as lot of work and expense on your part.  You are one of the busiest people I know.

Marilyn, I hope you can learn to be more discrete if that is what you need.  Sometimes is hard to know what to say and when to say it.  Solomon said,  "A word aptly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver."   We need to ask for wisdom and sometimes hesitate a little before we speak and consider what effect our words may have.  "Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing."  Prov 12:18

We had a good service this morning.  The auditorium was full.  The singing was wonderful.  The sermon excellent.  I felt the presence of our Lord.  My faith was strengthened.  God was glorified.   ----  I am tempted to stay home tonight and watch the Super Bowl.  But we won't do that.

Chris since I have been on anti depressants  the days aren't so blue anymore.

My dear sweer Marilyn...I have a large foot and a large mouth and I can sympathize with you.   There have been many times when I put my mouth in motion before I put my thoughts in gear and the times that I have hurt someone's feelings I have been so sad.  Sooooooo, I will be praying for all of us who have done this and I know it happens to all of us.

 Just asking the LORD to create within us a clean heart and mouth.. and renew a right spirit so that He will be glorified.  Thank You, Jesus, for Your grace and love and most of all for Your forgiveness.  Forgive the times I speak too quick and the times when I don't speak out as You would want.  Amen

I have just finished adding more photos in the three sections of the dive trip photos.  That is all of the "dry" ones, now I will post the underwater ones soon (not today!)

So if you haven't looked at them for a couple days, there are new ones added now.  Thanks.

Church was great.  David asked why was everyone sitting at the back...I believe, like most people do.  Then asked, 'Is it because I am preaching about money?'  He has spoke about money the last three weeks.  Great sermons...great to know if anyone there has problems about money, spending, saving or even earning, that there are people there that will teach them about spending and saving after earning and be discreet about it, too!  Mind boggling about the debt we Americans get into with credit cards!!!!!!!!

After church, Jerry and I had breakfast and then visited WalMart and Home Depot.  We got to his house.  Bubba, the cat Jerry is cat-sitting for was in his living room.  He saw me.  Looked puzzled.  Ran to the small bedroom.  He stayed there.  I took a nap and when I sat up, Bubba was looking out the door of the bedroom.  He walked to the end of the hallway and turned back to the bedroom.  Under the bed he went.  So much for picture taking of Bubba.  Hope he warms up to me before the end of February when his mommy and daddy gets back from Florida.  Never thought I would be put down by a cat!!!!

WE had an interesting day.  Pastor Jeff spoke on Love and used the love chapter.  He asked me to stay with the overheads and he had definitions for all the meanings of what love is and is not.  It was very interesting.  

Please pray for our pastors Mother.  She was operated on this past week, and the prognosis is not good.  She will be living with Dennis and Lois till the end.  This will be a difficult time for the family.

This evening we we worshipped in the downstairs fellowship room, at Cafe du Soulier (sp)  one comment that struck home was about first fruits.  We are to give of the first fruits, not just of our money but of everything that we have, this is a sacrifice that redeems the rest..  God gave His First as a sacrifice that redeemed us,  How can we not do the same but give of our first back to him?

Melaura didn't have drill tonight so we are home earilier, this is a nice treat.

Well I am off to chase 3 girls off to bed, and spend time with John.  He goes out tomorrow.

We also had quite a church service.  It lasted for about 90 minutes.  We had a large number of new members and 4 children and one adult receive baptism.  The singing and instrumental music contributed to the worship and our new minsiter gave a fine sermon on love.  The church was full as the three services were combined into one and after the service there was a beautiful reception held for the new pastor and his wife.  

When we got home our son was still working on the computers but shortly after we had eaten lunch he got the entire system to work and we all were greatly relieved.  This wireless network is really something.  Now I am working on getting my software updated for the new installation on the laptop as we did a complete new install of Windows 2000.  

Marilyn, I know it must have hurt to receive the communication from a Christian friend.  It is sometimes so difficult to communicate in writing as we can't judge the reaction of the receiver as we can in face-to-face communication.  I hope the problem can be resolved.

Janet, sure glad that Abby was over her touch of upset this morning.  Children can really bounce back.

Papa John, the Superbowl is on so long that you will undoubtedly be able to attend church and still see a lot of the game.  I thought the halftime show was just dreadful.  However, it seems to be a pretty good game.

Ria, sorry to read that you had such a storm.  It is hard to see the beautiful trees broken.

Good to read all the postings here today.  It is getting late so will sign off for tonight.  

Well, I am back from church this evening.   At 5:30 I am taking a course led by a Messianic Jew who is talking on Revelation.   What I have heard so far, I know I will just love it.   After that I went into the evening service and Pastor Charles Price is talking about the devil and deamons.   Wow.    He is very good and I have learned a lot.

Thank you Pat for your encouraging comment about the site.  I personally believe that this site has and is used of God to touch lives.  I think many of us would feel a void if there was no site!

Janet, I'm so glad little Abbey is better now.   Children seem to recoup easier.  God Bless

Marilyn,  glad to hear you are pain free.   Hope you still are.   I take Calcium and Magnesium, but I also take an extra 40 ml of Magnesium when I am aching in my joints or muscles.  A naturalpathic doctor's wife told me to do that and it has made a big difference.  I hear all the time that we don't get enough magnesium.  Ask your doctor.

Hi Mary Frances...hope you can post more often from your friends computer.  I know it is frustrating when you don't have a computer or access to the internet at your own place.   Will pray that God will change it around for you.  God Bless

Hi Liz...yes I have to learn to forgive.   I have had some upheavals in my life that were caused by some people.  I know it is important for me to forgive and I thought I had and then every once in a while a report from the past pops up and after brooding for a little while I have to forgive them again.

Marilyn...I will pray for you.

Judy...I have heard the same message on first fruits and that the first 10% redeems or blesses the other 90%.  Great theology.

I'm here today's been very trying and challenging though. The leaders who work with the kids downstairs have decided to turn over children's church toa new leader and most are going to go to a different church, also our pastor has decided to go in search of a different church to pastor at . i don't know what has gone on in our church but something has!! please be in prayer over it all! i'll be back on later.

Hi Sara....sorry to hear about the changes and upsets in your church.   Sometimes changes are very hard to handle and sometimes changes are good.   Pray about it and trust the Lord.   He will bring you through it.    God bless.

We just got through watching the movie "Radio".
That was an incredible movie. It was based on a true story.  I am going to buy it.  I loved it.
