Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

As far as I'm concerned, I never saw any "negative" to home schooling.  Janice did it for six years.  She belonged to a Home Schooling organization and they all got together in Thunder Bay every other week for special outings and projects.  The four kids had so many friends!

They are all in the school system now as Janice has gone back to school and all of them are at the top of their classes and having no trouble at all with getting into the system of attending school regularly.  Sharon got all kinds of awards graduating from Grade 8 this year.  I was so proud of her.

If there is any time left over then I'm going to have my ears lowered!!  You probably call it a hair cut over there!

We sometimes call it 'getting your ears lowered' here too!

This has been quite a day here on CP!

Iain, I'm praying for you to get good reports tomorrow.

Marilyn, welcome back!  We missed you!

Larry, hope you are feeling better.

Papa John, I hope they will be able to help your back.

Aaron, good to see you are posting!  We so enjoy young people here.

Jen, come on and tell us your homeschooling story.

Etta Sue, sounds as if you have been busy.

I know I didn't address everyone, sorry.  I'm really sleepy.  Today was our Abby's sixth birthday, and we just got home from helping her celebrate with steaks, gifts, cake and ice cream.

Talk to you tomorrow, folks!  Sweet dreams!

Pat, I see homeschool as a positive too.  Bernard and I have already decided that unless God just smacks us upside the head otherwise, Travis will be homeschooled.  My situation is different from some though.  I kinda figure if I went to school for 5+ years (I am still technically in grad school) to learn to teach, why on Earth would i want someone else to teach my child?????????  :o

Wow, it is getting late.  No wonder I'm exhausted, again.  I gotta start sleeping!!!!!!!!

Marilyn

Hello again. Happydog did ok in the truck, He was pretty restless most of the trip, it was so hot, we didn't use the a/c because the truck was running so hot we had to stop 4 times and let it cool down and put more water in. He finally just went to sleep in Santa Rosa. As for me my body is tired, sore, and slightly overworked.  ::) I haven't done so much heavy lifting all at once in a very long time. I'm not even supposed to be doing ANY heavy lifting because of a physical problem I have.

I think I'd better welcome Aaron and Shinenlite,  I sure am glad you found us.

The other day I received a prayer request from a Pastor in Africa who had found my website ministry on Google. He's the one who called it a ministry. Any way I sent my prayers to him and I haven't checked yet to see if he emailed me back.

I'll say good night now. Talk atcha all tomorrow after I goto my appointment with my new boss.

Well, glad that you're HOME, Marilyn!    We'll look forward to hearing more about the trip after you get rested.

Now, it's time to close this door and start tomorrow's topic.  But please just keep on posting--all night if you wish!

I know that Jane will be in later!
