Thanks to those who took a gander at my old black and white photo and the old black and white colorized with PSP.  It wasn't hard to do....just time consuming.  It was my first....hopefully not my last! 

I know I should comment on some other posts but right now I hear my bed calling because I know I have to get up early.  And it isn't even dark yet!!!

I finally tried out my new photo printer I bought when I bought my new camera, and it does a beautiful job!  Now, when I can figure out how to get to the pictures on the computer, I will show you some. 

Carol, yes, we live in a rural area of small towns.  The nearest towns of any size are 50 to 65 miles from us.  Other than Alco, there isn't any place here in town to buy gifts, etc.  Well, there is one shop, but it's very pricey!    So it was nice that we could do both the shopping and Darrel's trouble call on an alarm system in one trip.  Plus stopping by to see Abby!

Nita, I wondered if you would notice that the card was from one of my paintings.  I call that one "Friends" and I like it, too. It is posted in our Creations With a Brush area, I believe.  Tell your daughter I hope she enjoys it a lot!  By the way, your check arrived, and it is correct, or else $2 more than the bill........have to look. 

Marilyn, you are complaining about rain, and we are praying for rain.  It never seems to even out, does it?  Are you going to tell Leroy that IF he doesn't pay for gas, then you can't run him around, or are you just going to quit with no option for him?  I know, sometimes you have to get tough with people, or they will continue to take advantage of you.

Beth called, and she had a couple of visitors today, also, they had a pizza party tonight, so she had a good day.  She wants me to bring her some healing tapes or CDs from her house tomorrow.  It's good she is wanting to get her faith level up!

I hear my pillow calling........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.........

Marilyn - I would tend to agree with Janet about dealing with LeRoy straightly - telling him it's only fair and giving him warning before you dump him.  Then, if he doesn't do it - dump away!

Good Morning Folks!

Wow!  Yesterday was certainly an "off" and "on" day for me.  Tornado warnings all day but today is lovely. 

It rained all night and my grass is about a foot high so I better think about cutting it.

Good morning!  Another Thursday, and I don't know if my painters are or are not coming, but I need to go talk to Dr. Plumlee again, get some exercise (stress level way too high!) and take some things to Beth.  I also have to attend her "Care plan meeting" at 10:30.  So there is always plenty to get done.

I hope all of you are enjoying the presenced of the Lord on this lovely Thursday.  And let's take time to smell the roses and to thank Him whose gift they are.

Good afternnon everyone.  No excuses for being so late in today.

I enjoyed the devotional this morning.  It is true that there are times when breaking off a relationship that isn't glorifying to God can seem more difficult than cutting your hand off.  We need grace in order to do these things if the Lord is asking us to do it.

It was quite sunny here this morning, but the clouds are gathering this afternoon.

I noticed that  Al's clock is 2 hours behind Janet's.  It seems strange to me that there should be such a huge time difference within the same continent.  (The temperatures are similar though).

Etta Sue I hope you have a wonderful time while you are on the road over the next few days.  It's good just to  have a change of scenery sometimes.

Janet, it sounds like another busy day.  I hope Beth gets a good care plan sorted out for her.  They never seem to do enough here in the U.K.

Al, it's nice to see you this morning.  I trust you have a blessed day today brother.

Pat, the tornado warnings sound a bit scary.  I hope that there hasn't been any damage done by them.  Have a great day today sister.

I must do some cooking and housework this afternoon (as well as look at the French Open on satellite )

I have already told Leroy that I needed to have  $$ for gas, He paid up for 2 months. $20. last month for  2 trips of  running various errands and $30 in April. I filled my gas tank yesterday he had put the gas on the ministry's credit card. He knows that he is only allowed so much time for shopping and none for errands that have to do with the ministry. The county doesn't even know that he has an income from the ministry because it is 501.3c and he doesn't tell them about it. I am going to give him notice possibly today that I will work until the end of the month. I had different problem with him putting his hands on me and that is happening again too. I try to stay as far away from him as possible but in the confinement of the car well what more can I say. I did have a talk with him about that while his wife was still living, and he s the one who finished my sentence about keeping his hands to himself.

Does all that give you, Janet and Al, enough reason for me to dump him? Al I had discussed the previous problem with Leroy on the phone with you.

Marilyn, that is MORE than enough reason to dump him. 

Hi all!  been super busy the past week or so.  I think I'm about to get caught upwith myself though.

Not a lot happening that is new around here.  The kids are grwoing like little weeds, and we are enjoying the warm weather (finally).

Etta -- We were on the Parkway monday and saw a man and woman on a harley.  wondered if it was tony, but didn't have the nerve to ask.  I figure there are a lot of indi's that ride harleys.  Would be funny to see them out sometime though.

Sorry I don't get in here everyday.  I do try to breeze through and read when I can, and pray and stuff when I need to.  I htnk about ya'll daily. ")

Marilyn:  You are doing the right thing about "dumping" him.  Possibly, he has been getting by with this for years because he is a minister, a person of authority.  I once worked for a minister - and he said the wrong thing to me - boy, did I resign fast.  Right there on the spot, I told him that the job just wasn't working out.

Janet:  I will have to smell some other roses because I am trying to kill two bushes that just insist on coming back....they are scraggley & too close to where I take a short-cut off the patio.  I know - my neighbor is upset with me - well, they look awful as we are not home enough to take care of them.  So be it.

It's just coming up to 7:00pm here and I've had quite a good day just working in the house.  The carer will be coming in shortly to wash my mother and we'll have a quiet couple of hours before going to bed.

Marilyn, that sounds like a horrible situation for you to have been going through.  It sounds like a good idea just to have nothing at all to do with the man.  Strange that he thinks he has been called of God into the ministry.

Nice to see you Karmat, how tall are the children?  They seem to grow pretty fast these days.

Carol, I'm sorry to hear that you had a similar problem to Marilyn.  What's going on when people who are supposed to be ministers of the gospel behave in such a way.  It's no wonder that our churches are empty.  BTW, killing a rose bush around by me is a pretty serious crime    I hope you've thought this thing through.

Just off to learn some Italian and then go downstairs for a relax.

Marilyn - I wasn't aware he had strated that behavior again.  But, since he has - yes, dump him.

Yep, Marilyn.......I'd dump him, too.  It seems a lot of evil men try to hide under the cloak of the ministry.  And some who just don't want to work!  Thank God we do have wonderful men who are truly called by Him to that position.  And the sooner LeRoy is found out and "canned" the better.

Huge child porn internet bust here in Kansas today, in Wichita.  It is so revolting.

Beth's care plan meeting went well.  They asked her if she had any concerns, she told them about having to wait so long for help to the bathroom.  The director of nursing made note of it, said that is unacceptable, and that she will have a talk with the nurses.  When I got to the home, Beth was outdoors in the patio, petting the rabbit who lives there.  He is very tame.  I picked him up and set him on Beth's lap, and she enjoyed petting him.  We also found three terrapins out there.    Beth is adjusting, I think, more quickly than I dared to hope.  God is so good, and this is an answer to the many, many prayers that have gone up for her, and for us.  Thanks!

I hope I don't get bonked on the head.

I am going to give my notice to Leroy tomorrow, I will give him two weeks. I am also going to tell his Social Worker about the problem and about him defrauding the county with that unreported bank account. The Social Workers are always thinking that the Care Providers are trying to get over on the client and the county but it isn't THIS Care Provider.

The rain  stopped about noon before I went to Eureka for my Bone density test so the dogs got their walks today.

I noticed that Bebe has a growth on the back side of one of her front legs so I called her Dr. and made and appointment for Tuesday. JudyB I remember that Jake started with some growths on him.    so I am not taking any chances  with Bebe.

Well I think  will call it a night nd sign off for now. C all y-all in the morning.
