Don: Hey Judy, It's been a long time. Hope you are doing well. 2024-12-02, 22:41:41

JennyW: Hello Everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone wants to get this group going again! Hope all is well where ever you live! 2024-08-14, 08:21:59

Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Morning Devotional...

Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.
John 12:3

The fragrance of Mary's spikenard pervaded and filled the house at Bethany.  It clung to the feet of Jesus and He carried it with Him to Golgotha.

It also emanated from Mary's spikenard soaked hair as she went about the street of her village home. And still today each act of devotion to Him is like the outpoured spikenard. It scatters an incense, far-reaching, deep, sweet and fragrant.
--J. Strahan

The fragrance of her gift
that filled the room,
Had reached beyond the cross,
beyond the tomb.

Hi everyone.  It is going to be hot in Georgia today, close to 90 degrees.  Hopefully I am in for the day.  Pat just left to go pick up a prescription at the Kaiser Pharmacy.

We had a nice group of men at the coffee this morning.

Not much else new here today.  My calendar for the summer is fairly clear and I am looking forward to working on some projects that I haven't been able to get to and some I haven't even thought about yet.

I hope Janet and Darrell are having a wonderful time at the family reunion.  Hope it gives them a chance to relax and recoup a bit from the very hectic weeks they have gone through recently.  I am sure it is a relief to know that Beth is being taken care of while they are gone.

I will give you all a break and be brief today.  Pat, thanks for the devotional.

A very Good Morning to everyone.  It is a wet rainy day today1  I am thankful for the rain, and I am glad of the girls help in putting the garden in!  It is only +9*C but feels much warmer than that.  Can't wait to see the rows sprouting.

Seeing the rows sprouting is much like atching Melaura's friend who is a baby Christian.  A sure sign of her salvation is the guilt she is feeling for sin in her life.  As she turns he back on sin she will become victorius and will know the Power she has in our Lord!  Please pray for her, drugs are a problem that she is trying to change.

Well have to go and feed my sickie.

Well I am back I told ya I would be. :D

I hope everyone is feeling quite well today, rested and rejoicing. It is a little bit cool here right now it is supposed to get up to 66° later today.I think I wills top and get some gas and mow the lawn when I get home today. I am doing my laundry this morning so I won't have that to do over the weekend.

I have decided to start a journal recognizing the blessings and other things that are and have happened in my life.

Hi everyone.  It is very hot today and I am feeling a bit sluggish.  I was busy this morning and then this afternoon went to a garden centre nearby.  I was expecting it to be packed, but found it nearly empty.  Had a nice sit in the sun for 3/4 of an hour.  It was very pleasant.  Hope everyone has a great day today and see y'all later.

Hello Everyone.

Rick is back from seeing his Dad.  There is a great remedy for nausea from the side effects of Kemo.  He is taking "fish oil" twice a day.  This stops the nausea and Dad Drake has his taste for food back!  Pass that along to other cancer patients.

The rain has continued all day. Nice steady, soaker of a rain.  So much needed.

John is feeling a wee bit better thank you Lord.

Saturday, tomorrow, is Melaura's Annual Inspedtion.  Next week on Saturday is the annual dinner.   Pat we need to talk, this is a problem.

Well GTG, have a good evening everyone, and God bless.

Well, we've had some results from all the tests Marbeth went through recently.  It appears there is 70% blockage in the neck artery on the right side.  It will likely need a surgical procedure when we get back from our trip up to Olympka next week, but at least the Dr. said we can go.  When we get back, we're to get back in touch with him to map out the program from there.  Please pray.

Jane Walker

For sure, AL, I am praying for Marbeth as well as for you and your family as you make this trip to and from Olympia, WA.  May you have a worry free time of celebration with your granddaughter and enjoy every moment!
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass .... it's about learning to dance in the rain!

Janet

Good evening!  I am back from my once-a-year painting class in Fowler, Kansas, and had a WONDERFUL time.  I really needed that time to unwind, de-stress and relax.  Painting is the very best therapy for me!  I stayed at the country bed and breakfast where Dee and I stayed the past two years during that class.  She didn't get to go this time, as she is taking care of her brother who is dying of cancer.

I got three paintings finished, and when Jack visited us yesterday (Jack Sorenson, the master painter who used to teach the class) he gave me some really nice compliments on one of them.  Well, he only saw one of them......  Anyway, I'm back home now.

Beth has already called three times tonight, complaining and whining to come home......... :( :-\  I hope she doesn't keep this up, or I may lose my patience with her!  We go to Dodge tomorrow to pick up John.

Larry, our family reunion is next week, Thursday through Sunday.  We will be taking Beth and John with us, but I hope to have enough help from family members that it won't stress and wear me out too much.  Thanks for your kind thoughts.

It's about time to go to bed, I was up early every day this week and didn't sleep well last night, so I'm fading fast.

I got on the computer at the B&B last night but couldn't sign on, so read but didn't post.  Talk to you later.

Now, how about a smile?

DURING OUR church service one Sunday, a parishioner was speaking about an emotionally charged topic and had trouble controlling her tears. Finishing her remarks, she told the congregation, "I apologize for crying so much. I'm usually not such a big boob."
The bishop rose to close the session and remarked, "That's okay. We like big boobs."
