Morning Devotional...That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life. 1 John 1:1
God manifest in the flesh!
He was audible, visible and touchable. Yet despite this revelation His own rejected Him. They despised His teaching and stopped their ears. They refused to see who He was and acknowledge that His miracles were of God.
Instead of embracing Him, they took Him and with wicked hands nailed Him to a tree. Centuries later we have come to know this Word of Life as the Saviour of our souls.
Thank God that He came to earth to endure the cross and conquer sin and death for us!
--Crawford PaulFrom His bright throne eternal,
He came to earth below;
From Godhead's fullest glory
He came to bear our woe.

Janet...........
Praise the Lord you both made it safely through what could have been fatal. Our Lord has much for you to do. We drove home tonight from a Christmas party in five inches of snow. Drove slow, took it easy, and made it safely home. I hate driving in the snow at night. As many here know, it's very dangerous. Especially when you add deer and moose crossing the road. Your incident on the road reminds me of the day Vivian and I were coming home from church and in my impatience, I attempted to pass a slow driver on an icy road. Our truck went left, right, left, right seven times, with me battling the steering wheel. The lady I tried to pass pulled over and let the crazy man pass. From then on I don't pass in the snow or ice. I see you are versed in eschatology. It's not the mystery some folks believe it to be. I look at prophecy this way......Our Lord thinks so much of it He devoted 1/3rd of His Bible to prophecy.
Ria..........
It's unfortunate that you have been so disappointed by the politics between the churches in your community. Few, if anyone, can say they attend the perfect church. There always seems to be something, or someone, who brings dissent and disruption within the body (believers). A so-called little thing (and it isn't a so little) like your not having a chair to sit in can bring about adverse results. Why not buy your own chair and place it in the church? If I read your post correctly, your own church is no more. If this is true, and people as you say are not happy with choices given to you, I ask the following. Why not contact all of the people you personally know who are churchless and form your own home church, or Bible study. It is my firm conviction that our Lord will not allow you to be without a church for long. Only good can come from a believer's faithfulness.
Welcome T-Bone and Mullet...........
Thanks Pat.............
And He did it for His glory.
9.15 a.m.
Goodmorning everyone from chilly England.
Pat thanks How wonderful to have touched Him and seen Him in His "Sonship", now He touches me. Praise Him.
Pat How's about this carol? In view of the weather conditions......
"In the Bleak Midwinter, frosty wind made moan,
In the bleak Midwinter, Long ago.
Snow had fallen, snow on snow,
In the bleak Midwinter, long ago".
The Radio Broadcast Service today was from Norway. It is the Festival of Light there. This is held during the darkest time of year in that Country. The Subject was "Womens' Role" expressing the similarities with Deborah saying "Blessed is Jael among women" and Elizabeth saying to Mary "Blessed art thou among women". Elizabeth and Mary knew the story of Jael and Sisera and it seems that these two women were chosen to be instruments of God's justice...."God indicates all women are called to be instruments in His purpose.". A lovely service and lovely singing.
An interesting fact archaeologists have proved head lice were a fact of life in that area when Mary was pregnant and the Minister was sure that she would also have had this problem. She wasn't called to be "meek and mild" he said "Justice was in Mary's womb".
Christopher dressed our Christmas tree yesterday, it looks very pretty. We don't have electric lights on it but silver garlands do a similar thing. He's out for a church meal today and I am not cooking until tonight. We shall have tuna bolognese.
Have a wonderful Lord's Day folks.
God bless.
Jenny.

What wonderful news, Jenny!
I've been watching it on CNN.
I've just been reading through yesterday's posts and I'm just so thankful that we as Christians are forever in the hollow of His wonderful hands. Here we have two obvious happenings that our Heavenly Father safely guided Gene's and Janet's vehicles through this horrendous weather.
Thank you so much our Dear Heavenly Father for sheltering our two friends.
With all of the news that is being broadcast let's try also to keep our eyes on the Saviour and remember what He did for us on the Cross of Calvary.

Behold, What Love! (http://christianphotographers.com/sounds/beholdwhatlove.mpga)
(Click to hear music)
Author: Robert Boswell, 19th Century
Musician: James McGranahan, 1840-1907
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
1 John 3:1-3
Behold, what love, what boundless love,
The Father hath bestowed
On sinners lost, that we should be
Now called "the sons of God!"
Refrain
Behold, what manner of love!
What manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us,
That we, that we should be called,
Should be called the sons of God!
No longer far from Him but now
By "precious blood" made nigh,
Accepted in the "Well beloved,"
Near to God's heart we lie.
Refrain
What we in glory soon shall be,
It doth not yet appear;
But when our precious Lord we see,
We shall His image bear.
Refrain
With such a blessèd hope in view,
We would more holy be,
More like our risen, glorious Lord,
Whose face we soon shall see.
Refrain

Hi everyone. First of all a big welcome ot T-Bone and Mullet. We are happy to have you join us here and look forward to many postings from you both.
We will leave for Sunday School and church in a few minutes. It is still damp and chilly here. We went to the Sunday School party and had a very nice dinner and time of visiting with each other. The decorations and tables had been prepared to look very festive.
What exciting news that Saddam Hussein has been captured. I am praying that we will see a major change in what is happening in Iraq with him out of the picture. I am sure it is far from over but at least the Iraq people no longer need to live in fear that he or his sons will return to power.
Pat, sure glad you made it home safe and sound last night. It sounds like you and Ruthie had a great time and enjoyed the music.
Hope all those suffering from the flu or colds or other ailments will be feeling better today.
I, too, have been riveted to the screen this morning. My son served in the first Gulf War, so I'll be interested to speak with him later this evening when we arrive in Atlanta.
I'm praying for traveling mercies. There's a pretty big mountain between here and there, and often it's dangerous driving on that mountain.
My return will be tomorrow morning alone, since my son will remain for medical treatment.
Y'all have a good day.
Ruth Ann
Oh Pat, that's lovely "Behold what manner of love" He has bestowed upon us all. He even loves Saddam. I was thinking this morning, how sad for him that he doesn't know the Saviour., but he did have some Christians around him...just wouldn't listen. Isn't our Jesus wonderful? Such peace He gives us, the world doesn't know this peace. Thank-You Jesus. We love You Father.
It's gone so cold, I don't think I will get out to the park today. Oh gosh, I have just realised I ought to eat something, its 3.10p.m. No wonder i feel odd...No comments...Yes, where is our chirpy chappy Chris. Hurry home Chris and Margit we miss you so much.
I am just going to take my" rumbling tummy" into the kitchen. :P
Speak later.
Jenny.
Thank you Pat for that wonderful devotional.....
the written Word became the Living Word. 1 John 1:1, 14. During this Christmas season, I hope we can introduce Jesus, the Living Word to the world and show that He is the Reason for the Season.
God Bless
Ruthie
Thank Pat for the nice hymn today

Good morning and afternoon for others!
I am getting ready to go to Sunday school.
I have been having some trouble with my other computer. Not sure why it's running so slow. I cleaned it and deleted a bunch of stuff and it still is doing some weird stuff. I am going to take it in on Monday and see if they can fix it.
Egenda for the day:
1) Go to church and Praise God!
2) Make cake that we were supposed to make yesterday.
3) Make Birthday cards for Jesus.
4) Watch a couple movies.
Awesome news about Saddam!
It's times like this I wish I had cable. :-\
I am glad my boys could join the site. I hope they will take the time to read the devotions every morning and reply. Troy(T-bone) is a bit shy so he might not reply a lot, but Zachery(Mullet) is totally different. He is a little social bug. He like talking with folks. :D
Hope you all have a great day.
Soni
Well good morning - and WELCOME to "Tbone" and "Mullet."
In just a little while we'll be going up the hill to our little church, where I am to preach today. I'll be talking about Gabriel's announcement to Mary concerning her bearing of our Lord. What an announcemnt! What a tremendous thing for her! She was made God's special servant to raise our Lord Jesus Christ! How would you women like to have that task? She could only do it because, as Gabriel said, "the Lord is with thee!" All of you women can likewise serve the risen Savior today, because, as He Himself said, "Inasmuch as ye have done it to the least of these . . . ye have done it unto Me."
Just coming through quickly before I go to church Will come back later to read everything.
TTYL
I'll be praying for you,
Al, as you preach today.
Hi
Marilyn!I'm so happy,
Sonja, that the boys have joined us here at CP. Have a great day baking that cake!
Hello to
Ria and Ruthie! We'll be praying that you have journeying mercies,
Ruth Ann. I hope you don't meet up with any snow on that mountain.
Let's pray for our
Chris over in England. I had a short email from him saying that he's been "under the weather". I pray that he gets better very soon.
We miss you so much, Chris!

Good morning. I am only stopping by for a moment as I get ready for church. Today will be our communion and potluck that we usually have on the first Sunday of the month. It was moved to today because we are also including our "annual" Christmas party and have invited two other churches to join us. This will be following the morning service. We'll sing carols, enjoy each others fellowship, have a "white elephant" gift exchange and EAT!! There will be no evening service today.
I am unable to see my TV this morning, but I got the news of Saddam's capture on the internet! I can't help but think that my grandson is over there, and this is what his unit was out to do ... search for terrorists.
I wish every one of you a most blessed day with the Lord.(https://www.christianphotographers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.webpost.net%2Fhi%2FHisOwn%2Fharpangl.gif&hash=d0efcbd0c2e61d21a41c2d9a97ba6252f93535af)

I just received this in my mail and want to share it with you all.
As I've read Ria's comment about a somewhat non-festive Holland I realized that not all of us will be able to join in the Christmas celebration at a church, not all churches are able to bring members together to form a choir or any other celebration.
So, for you all, but especially those of you who still want to join into a special celebration and lack opportunity, here it is........
A blessed season to all!
Margit
I am happy to see you Margit we are missing you is Chris also allright

Lamb of God! Our Souls Adore Thee (http://christianphotographers.com/sounds/erie.mpga)
(Click to hear music)
Lamb of God! Our souls adore Thee
While upon Thy face we gaze;
There the Father's love and glory
Shine in all their brightest rays;
Thine almighty power and wisdom
All creation's works proclaim;
Heaven and earth alike confess Thee
As the ever great "I AM."
Lamb of God! Thy Father's bosom
Ever was Thy dwelling place;
His delight, in Him rejoicing,
One with Him in power and grace;
Oh, that wondrous love and mercy—
Thou didst lay Thy glory by,
And for us didst come from heaven,
As the Lamb of God, to die!
Lamb of God! When we behold Thee
Lowly in the manger laid,
Wandering as a homeless stranger
In the world Thy hands had made;
When we see Thee in the garden,
In Thine agony of blood,
At Thy grace we are confounded,
Holy, spotless, Lamb of God!
When we see Thee, as the Victim,
Bound for us upon the tree,
For our guilt and folly stricken,
All our judgment born by Thee—
Lord, we own, with hearts adoring,
Thou hast loved us unto blood:
Glory, glory everlasting,
Be to Thee, Thou Lamb of God!

Hello everyone. well some of us are here.
WHERE IS EVERYONE ELSE?
I've been to church and back home again. The storm was really bad last night as I am sure Jane and Nita got it before I did.
The wind was so strong I had to bring my Trash Barrel in the house or it would have blown away. There is power line that goes from the main pole to the pole for my electric meter that is hanging almost to the ground. The land lord has been here to feed the horses this morning and I hope he has called it in. I am going tocall him shortly.
Be back later
Thank you for the comments on the little graphics. It does seem funny to see someone else posting one that I have just like it.....Pat!!!! I almost forgot about my PSP lessons. This is one way I can show them... ;D ;)
Church was awesome. Our pastor just got home Kenya, Africa, Friday night. He was sporting a beard...didn't shave for 2 weeks. Kinda looks good on him. His sermon was about the birth of Christ. He would talk and then the choir would sing, then he would go on with his sermon and then the choir again. Really made the message double in strength with words and music. Then today was The Bridge...teen church. Jerry nor I had heard the new Youth Minister, Danny Curry. So we stayed for teen church. Now the music I don't believe I could take a steady diet of but what an uplifting sight to see. We were in the old santuary and it was standing room only...probably close to 400 people in there. Danny is a fast talker with some humor. He told the story of baby Jesus. How many times have I seen a Nativity Scene, knowing that there was Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, an angel, shepherds, Kings and animals.....all looking at Baby Jesus. But today it finally hit me that the lowest of people, the shepherds, along with the highest of people, the Kings, were the ones the angels chose to see Baby Jesus. Proof that Jesus was born for ALL. He also explained the difference between happiness and joy. You are happy because of outside influences but joy comes from within. Without Christ in your heart, you don't experience joy. Well, today I left church with joy in my heart. Awesome!!
Chris, I have your comical URL playing in the background. It was cute at first....now? Maybe I had better shut off some of those reindeer!!! Thank you. Very cute!!!
Going to church this morning, I thought that the highway department forgot they had snow removal equipment. Nothing was done until I got about a mile from Jerry's. On the way home, it was melting so it was pretty good!
I am so glad they found Saddam Hussein! Now maybe we can get this fighting and killing over with and return back to normal....whatever that is.
I received this in an email today from my cousin...a retired minister's wife.
"A LETTER FROM JESUS "
Well, as you know, it's almost time for my birthday again.
Last year, they had a really big party for me and it seems like they will again this year. After all they have been shopping and preparing for it for months now, and there have been announcements and advertisements almost every day about how soon it's coming! They really do go overboard about it, but it's nice to know that at least one day of the year some people are thinking about me a little.
You know, it's been many years now since they first started celebrating my birthday. Back then they seemed to realize and appreciate how much fun it is for the little children. Just the same, it seems that most folks are missing the point of it all. Like last year, for example, when my birthday came around, they threw a big party, but can you believe it? I wasn't even invited! Imagine! The guest of honor, and they forgot all about me.
They had begun preparing for the festivities months in advance, but when the big day came, I was left out in the cold! Well, it happened so
many times in recent years,
I wasn't even surprised. Even though I wasn't invited, I thought I'd just quietly slip in anyway. So I came in and stood off to the side.
Everyone was drinking, laughing, and having a great time when all of a sudden in came this fat fellow in a bright red suit, wearing a phoney white
beard shouting, "Ho Ho Ho!". He looked like he had more than enough to drink.
When he collapsed into a big armchair, all of the children went running over to him excitedly yelling, "Santa! Santa!" I mean, you'd have thought he was the guest of honor and the whole holiday was just for him. Then he began telling them the most ridiculous story you ever heard! That he lives at the North pole with a crew of dwarfs and that every year on my birthday he rides in his sleigh pulled by a bunch of flying reindeer, delivering presents to
children all over the world! I mean there wasn't a word of truth in anything that he said.
Imagine telling such poor, little, impressionable kids such far fetched fables!
Finally I just had to leave. I walked out the door. It was no surprise that no one even noticed that I had gone. As I walked down the street, I felt about as lonely and forlorn as a stray dog. I could not remember the last time I felt that low. Maybe you don't think I cry?
The little manger scene you put in the corner of your living room is really touching! It's good that people commemorate my birthday like that.
Did you know that nowadays, in some countries, the authorities won't even allow manger scenes placed in parks, streets, or public places anymore? Not to mention their schools! I'm not talking about Communist countries!
I'm talking about the good, old USA. Imagine! What could be more innocent than a manger scene to remind people of my birthday? Yet it's banned! They've passed laws against it to make it illegal. What is this world coming to?
Another thing that amazes me is how, on my birthday, instead of giving me presents, most people give gifts to each other! And to top it off, it's
usually the kind of stuff you don't even need! Let me ask you, wouldn't you find it odd if when your birthday came along, all your friends decided to celebrate by giving gifts to each other, and not giving
you a thing? Someone once told me, "Well, it's because you're not around like most people are, so how can we give you a present?"
You know my answer to that one?: "Then give gifts of food and clothing to the poor, give help to those who need it. Go visit the lonely! Any gift you give a needy fellow man, I'll count it as if you gave it to me personally. ("And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Matthew 25:40).
Well, sad to say, things are getting worse every year. You can just imagine my shock a few years ago when I began seeing them taking the title out
of my birthday greeting and replacing it with an 'X'? What an insult! Think of it! Xmas!... What if I wrote you a birthday card and said Happy Birthday X! You'd probably never talk to me again!
That is just about how I feel.
XMAS - NO!
What more could they do to push me out of the picture on my own birthday? It reminds me of what happened to a friend of mine recently, a sweet, elderly fellow. He is from the poorer side of town, and he's been trying unsuccessfully for years to join the church. It was a very exclusive church for the proper kind of folks, and they just did not think he was
good enough to be a member. I found him one time sitting on the church steps with his head in his hands . I asked him what was wrong. He told me about it. I put my arm around his shoulder and told him I knew just how he felt. I've been wanting to enter that same church for 20 years and they've never let me in either.
Well, there is an end to even my patience. So I'm going to let you in on a secret. Now this is something I have been planning on doing for quite sometime. I'll have my own party! How about that? It's going to be the most fantastic feast you could possibly imagine! It might not happen this year, but I'm sending out the invitations now. I know you'll want to come.
There is going to be room for billions, for everyone who wants to come! Some really famous old timers and celebrities are gonna be there and I'll reserve you a seat of honor right with them. So hold on to your hat because when everything is ready, I'm going to spring it as a big surprise!
Many people are going to be left out in the cold because they didn't answer my invitation. Let me know right away if you'd like to come. I'll reserve a place for you and write your name in Large Golden Letters in my Great Big Guest Book!
All My Love, Your Friend

Bringing you God's Word daily.
Nice devotional Pat. Thanks.
The rain stopped after I got home this afternoon. Poured this morning and was cold. A pleasant surprise at church...the bldg. was warm!
We had a missionary, home from Kenya, who took the service. They showed a movie of their work...so pretty with the lights off and the tree and candles glowing. The music was also great. Piano and flute. Then wonderful Christmas carols. It was worth going out in the storm.
I feel sad for Ria. Would it not be better to go to the Baptist Church every Sunday, since it seems to fill a need. Not saying this because I attend a Baptist Church. Find it best to attend a church where the spirit is fed...that can also be another denomination.
Margit, loved that church!!! Thanks.

The capture of Saddam was a wonderful Christmas present for the world. As a Christian, I have mixed emotions about what should follow. Perhaps we need to be concerned about the military keeping him alive to stand trial...and those who stand guard.
God Bless.
I'm back. I am just taking it easy today it is very cold for me, although not as cold as those of you where the snow is. I don't know if I could live inthe snow as much as I prefer to be above freezing. ;D
I don't have much to say I just wanted to get another post in since it has been so quiet here for the last few days.
Janet where are you? Papa John where are YOu? Ruth ann where are you? Paulette Where are you? I could go on and on with the Where are you's. I hope our people are well and healthy.
Later.
Hello everyone :)
I just stoped by to read the post and say hello.
We had a great service today. It sure makes one glad to be a Christian and have the "hope" we do enjoy as Christians. ;D ;D
We are certainly living in troubled times, but we need not to worry because He has the whole world in His hands.
I was just thinking as I write this, about troubled times. Being a Christian is like having a bridge over troubled waters.
Well it made sense to me when I thought about it, as I read it I am not sure it will make sense to others.
I will leave the thought there for your pleasure. :)
I broke a part of a tooth off yesterday eating a fruit cake baked by our neighbor, :'( :'(
(it was a real good cake) ;D ;D
Tomorrow I will be at the office of the Dentist when he opens, begging him to give me some help. I happen to know they are really booked up right now and will be closing for the Christmas holiday soon.

While Shepards Watched Their Flocks (http://www.christianphotographers.com/sounds/christmas/while.mid)
(Click to hear music)
"There were shepherds living out in the fields nearby,
keeping watch over their flocks at night."
Luke 2:8-9
Words: Nahum Tate, 1700
Music: "Christmas," George F. Handel
While shepherds watched their flocks by night,
All seated on the ground,
The angel of the Lord came down,
And glory shone around,
And glory shone around.
"Fear not!" said he, for mighty dread
Had seized their troubled mind.
"Glad tidings of great joy I bring
To you and all mankind
To you and all mankind.
"To you, in David's town, this day
Is born of David's line
A Savior, who is Christ the Lord,
And this shall be the sign,
And this shall be the sign.
"The heavenly Babe you there shall find
To human view displayed,
All meanly wrapped in swathing bands,
And in a manger laid,
And in a manger laid."
Thus spake the seraph and forthwith
Appeared a shining throng
Of angels praising God on high,
Who thus addressed their song,
Who thus addressed their song:
"All glory be to God on high,
And to the Earth be peace;
Good will henceforth from heaven to men
Begin and never cease,
Begin and never cease!"

Nice music Pat. I have it playing now.
Since there are so few posts today, will type out a little story that is sort of nice. Old fashioned....
Drinking From My Saucer
I've never made a fortune, and it's probably too late now. But I don't worry about that much, I'm happy anyhow. And as I go along life's way, I'm reaping better than I sowed.
I'm drinking from my saucer.
'Cause my cup has overflowed.
Haven't got a lot of riches, and sometimes the going's tough.
But I've got loving ones all around me, and that makes me rich enough.
I thank God for His blessings, and the mercies He's bestowed.
I'm drinking from my saucer,
'Cause my cup has overflowed.
I remember times when things went wrong,
My faith wore somewhat thin.
But all at once the dark clouds broke, and the sun peeped through again.
So Lord, help me not to gripe about the tough rows I have hoed,
I'm drinking from my saucer,
'Cause my cup has overflowed.
If God gives me strength and courage,
When the way grows steep and rough,
I'll not ask for other blessings, I'm already blessed enough.
And may I never be too busy to help other's bear their loads.
Then I'll keep drinking from my saucer,
'Cause my cup has overflowed.

I guess we could share all the goodies with Sue, ok?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONG (http://christianphotographers.com/sounds/birthday7.mid)
Judy, at least for me, it's not talent at all - just an easy to use graphics program. ;D
Liz, that's lovely. Thanks for sharing that with us.
Thats a really "cool" birthday song, Pat. I hope everyone clicks on to hear it!
Judy I am still here. Go check your IM's. I sent you a message.
When I was playing the Birthday song, Happydog put his paws on my desk and his nose on my monitor and was looking around for the sound. I showed him the speaker and he barked at it. Pat he liked your Happy Birthday music too, That was awesome. Sounded like Beethoven in parts.

WELCOME FAST EDDIE!!
We're REALLY so very glad to see you!

We are glad to have you aboard. Come on in and tell us about yourself.
Thanks Pat for inviting me to your site. As I navigate around it and find out how things work, I'll participate more often.
Pat, you were right about Tid Bits. Recently I posted a response to someone there and I get the feeling that some there do not like religious topics. Yet I received a couple of positive comments.
I'm not sure yet how to post my bio, but I'm sure someone will lend a hand.
For now, I rec'd Christ at age 32. I asked God to let me live for Him as long as I lived w/o Him. That would be 32 yrs....well, thirty two years are up next year. That's when I turn 64.
I have a wife of 43 yrs and I refer to her as my BW (beautiful wife) We have 13 grandchildren and when my youngest daughter gets married in June 2004, we'll inherit Joe's 3 kids to bring the total to 16.
"Children are arrows from God and blessed is the man whose quiver is full" AMEN

Oh, Ed, I'm so glad you came. You'll feel really welcome here... I just know!
We have a lot of fun and we have some really good spiritual discussions too.
Tonight, we're celebrating Sue's birthday. She hasn't arrived yet so we've been eating all the goodies without her! HAHAHA!
Wow! You've got me beat with the grandkiddies. I have 9!
The oldest are both 15 and the youngest just turned 1 recently.
Now, pull up a chair and help yourself to coffee or tea and there's fresh baked Irish Wheaten bread!
Also, Ed, at about midnight yours and my time, I lock this topic and open another one with tomorrow's date. So, just in case you wonder why you can't post a message, you've done nothing wrong, it's just that the discussion has been locked.
hey ya'll
It's been a wonderful day here. nice and clear with the bright sun shinning. mom and dad and kaylessa and ricardo and domenic are all watching tv in the living room. i don't care much for tv. well i'm off here to catch up ttyl
Sarah
One nice things about getting together with other Christians....I always feel so welcome.
I enjoy writing, trouble is I never learned how to do it right. I write what I feel and say it in the way that I feel.
One thing I'll say.....so far in my first visit...you people are light years ahead of me when it comes to all the fancy stuff I see.
That doesn't intimidate me, but it does show me that I got a long way to go when it comes to this machine. Just last year I found out how to put color in my stuff HaHa!
Ed, you'll notice that when you post a message, it says, "I'm a llama!" over to the left beside your name.
You can click on "Profile" up above and change that. The software that CP uses for the forums automatically puts that there for all new people.
Also, we have a very interesting couple of challenges going on that you might like to have a look at.
One is Around Your Town (http://christianphotographers.com/yabbse/index.php?board=24;action=display;threadid=1886) where folks are showing us pictures of where they live.
The other one is Signs of the Season (http://christianphotographers.com/yabbse/index.php?board=38;action=display;threadid=1885). Many are showing us signs of Christmas where they live.
Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. I had a great day.
Margit, and Chris too, thank you for those cards!
Etta Sue, what a letter and how true it is.
Liz, thank you for that story. It does provide some food for thought.
Just like the devotions that are posted every day do.
I also agree, that it is good news that Saddam has been captured. I can only pray that our leaders make the right decisions about what to do now that they have him in their custody.

Pat, I snuck in at the end of the day (first chance today I've really had to sit and read at the computer) and discovered that there were still a little of the goodies saved just for me......hehehe
A welcome to all the new members also. This is a warm and loving peaceful place to come to every day!
A special thank you to my mom (Ruth) for her birthday greeting. I received a very special card in the mail from her last week and I still cry when I read it.
And now, I must go. Time to go to bed and get some refreshing sleep for the day ahead tomorrow. Good night everyone and thank you again for the wonderful birthday wishes, and song too!
Fast Eddie..........
Welcome. Nice to have a new kid on the block. ;D
Well, this was a better day in New Every Morning! I'm so happy to see all of you who have posted today.
Time to lock the door now.
I hope that no one gets "bonked" on the head.
